My son takes quillvant ex and has 4 years. This medicine is made in P.R, and in September they had a hurricane hit and haven’t made any more medicine. I have a prescription in hand and can’t get it filled since it is out of stock. I called the dr. office to see if William Mclomb could prescribe something similar to quillivant till it is back in stock. The receptionist informed me we over 1 ½ overdue for an appointment, I told her I would like to make an appointment. She said they are booked till April. The doctor wouldn’t write another prescription till after he see my son. What am I supposed to do with my son in school and not having his medicine? I have forgot to give his meds before and the school called me because he couldn’t stay focused and was moving around too much. I spoke to the office in September about getting a letter for my son stating he has adhd so he can get some extra time for test. No one told me to come in for appointment. I am very disappointed in the Mandeville office and most of all hurt because my son is going to be upset that he is getting in trouble in school and there is nothing I can do to fix this.
