Did not follow through on promised referral letter, finally issued derogatory hand written letter; would not release my medical records as requested for life insurance verification unless I went to his office in Regina, SK when I lived in Victoria, BC.

Dr. Sheikh is the best doctor I've ever been to! He knows his stuff and he can explain things to me in English. He takes the time to tell me exactly what is wrong and he explains it perfectly clear! No doctor takes the time to be so articulate. I am deeply sad to hear that he has quit his practise to deal with health matters. I love him so much and I miss him!Wherever you may be Dr.Sheikh always know that you are the best!!!!!!

Yes he was my doctor for several years but he suddenly had to quit because of his own health problems. It's tough to find a new doctor in this town.

For the most part I found what everyone says in their reviews to be true. Dr. Sheikh was friendly, runs close to on time, does not generally rush you, was extremely personable with my children and husband, and a knowledgeable and caring physician. Where I was surprised to find a disconnect with him is when I went to see him regarding my depression. It is difficult to get up the courage to share that part of my health issues with anyone, but I had built up some trust with him and was sure he would be respectful about it. Instead I feel like I really hit a nerve with him (or perhaps a gap in his knowledge). He could not get me out of there fast enough. So, I would go back to him for anything else, but not for depression. Unfortunately, I have recently heard that he retired a couple of weeks ago.

I have used Dr Sheikh's services for several years now.He is very caring and helpful. I suffered a minor heart attack over 4 years ago. In lieu of drugs as treatment he has recommended vitamin therapy and exercise. As a result all precursors to future problems have disappeared i.e., cholesterol levels, homocysteine levels etc. He is very easy to talk to, is compassionate, experienced and knowledgeable.

My family love Dr. Sheikh, he is very caring and compasionate, and always very thorough. He truly cares for his patients. He has excellent support staff, it is always a pleasure dealing with Tiffany, she will fit you in an emergency, and is a great resource.

Dr. Sheikh has been consulted on a variety of issues and has been spot on with his diagnosis, agreeing to treat matters in a way that I'm comfortable with. He adds humour and wit to make you feel very comfortable. I strongly recommend him.

I have nothing but praise for Dr. Sheikh. Thorough, interested, professional, compassionate. He takes the time to inquire about what is going on in your life. He has respected my wishes to not prescribe when I have asked for alternatives. He makes you feel comfortable in his approach to a diagnosis or general health issues you should be aware of. I would refer him to anyone.

Dr. Iridis Sheikh has been nothing but a comforting Grandfather-Type to my 2 children, a friend to my wife and I and a Healer to my entire family. you would be hard pressed to find another physician in Saskatchewan, or Canada with more compassion than this gentleman. Dr. Sheik is very experienced and very professional. Our whole family goes to see him now including our twin baby girls. He's quick and he's always helpful.
