Dr. Gillard did my surgery in 2015 and he did a good job. He is very down to earth ,also. I would recommend him.

I SPENT SEPT-OCT- TILL NOV I8 2010 IN TUPELO HOSP.DR GILLILAND REMOVED PART OF MY COLON, MANY COMPLICATIONS,,EVERY MORNING 6;30 AM HE VISITED ME,,IN JUNE 2011 I DEVELOPED A HERNIA IN THE STOMACH AREA WHICH HE REPAIRED ,,I NOW HAVE NOTICED ANOTHER HERNIA IN THAT AREA,I INTEND TO HAVE DR GILLILAND HELP ME AGAIN ,,HE IS BY FAR THE BEST DR. I'VE EVER HAD AT AGE 82,,,A REAL CHRISTIAN SOUTHERN GENTLEMAN,,PROMPT &COURTEOUS,AN EXPERT AT WHAT HE DOES,ALL THE STAFF AT THE HOSPITAL TRULY RESPECT HIM,,& SO DO I,,I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ALL,I OWE A LOT TO HIS SKILL AS A SURGEON,,,BEING OF GREEK DECENT I CAN HONESTLY SAY,''DR GILLINAND LIVES UP TO THE HIPPOCRATIC OATH''GOD BLESS HIM...

My husband went into ER and had emergency surgery and Dr. Gilliland was a God send for us. We couldn't have had a better surgeon. He is very personable and the best bed side manners of any doctor we have ever had any contact with. He knows what he is doing. Would recommend him to anyone needing a surgeon.

I would advise anyone who was needing surgery to contact Dr. Gilliland. I had surgery and he was very good to me and my family during my hospital stay. I really respect him and wish there were more out there like him.

Dr.Gilliland was never my personal physician but took care of my mother some years ago and I have never forgotten the respect and care he showed my mother and my family during her illness and death. He always kept us informed as to what was happening with mother and was never rude or impatient with us. He transfered mother to the care of an oncologist before her death but still, upon learning of her death, took the time to send our family a sympathy card and this was an act of thoughtfullness that I will never forget. Should I ever need the services of a surgeon I would not hesitate to use Dr.Gilliland.

This man is the genuine article.. Christian and doesn't mind you knowing it. One of the best physicians I have ever used. A real credit to the profession of medicine. Need more like him
