I was referred to Dr . Dutas for a biopsy! I had an apt on Dec.6 which I found out by calling my general doctor! I confirmed with Dutas office! I went to emergency and they had no idea I was coming and asked if I was at the right place! Had my biopsy and no follow up a six weeks after! I had an apt on Jan 22 only to wait two hours with no call! The receptionist was not helpful and said she worked remotely so has no idea where the doctor is or if he is behind on his work! She does not communicate with him! I was advised the doctor would call me on Jan 23 and I am still waiting! It's hard to get through to the receptionist! I did receive some follow up online but want to confirm there are no issues with my biopsy or with what it says! He needs better support staff or staff that actually helps you! Very discouraging! I thought the doctor was great! He needs help with managing his office!

I had a great first visit with Dr. Duta. On time, nice receptionist, acknowledged my pain and I’m happy to be having my gallbladder removed soon.

Had a colonoscopy at CDH with Dr. Duta. All went flawlessly. He was professional, on time and extremely gentle with the scope. The nursing staff at CDH ambulatory care are phenomenal, can’t say enough good things about them.

Had a colonoscopy booked with an arrival time of one pm. Received a call to come early as they had a cancelation. I waited for 1.5 hours in the hospital anyway, I understand that things change so no big deal. Once I was in the room and situated there was an issue with the sedative not being ready and then a problem getting it in my intravenous line. Dr. Duta didn't wait but proceeded with the scope causing such discomfort that I was starting to raise my voice in protest all the while being held down by one nurse while the other was struggling to get me sedated. No way did he not know I wasn't sedated! I could feel everything and was trying to claw at the nurse to make it stop. I could also feel the extraction of the scope like I was being pulled inside out. Never ever again will I go to this Dr and may I suggest you steer clear if he is the one doing your procedure.

Firstly he did my grandfather’s surgery which he failed to close up properly causing him to go into sepsis and die.
Years later I was sent in for emergency gall bladder removal. If I had known he was going to do this surgery I would have refused till they found someone else. Unfortunately I was so sedated I didn’t know what was going on. Now 8 years later I am still suffering the awful side effects of this surgery.
I highly recommend insisting on another dr.

Dr Dutu performed a colonoscopy on myself this morning. It was my first ever. This gentleman is brilliant. Really puts you at ease. Very knowledgeable. If you have never had this procedure and you are lucky enough to get this gentleman your worries are over. Highly recommended. Deserves ten stars not five.

Unesssicary complications after a gallbladder removal , because things were not followed thru on initial findings. Kept trying to punt me out of hospital and they found other things interfering in my recovery. Not impressed. My family dr rocked and kept me going.

Dr. Duta removed my colon June 2019. This was a surgery made more difficult by the need to meticulously peel my bladder away, which had fused itself to the colon. Upon my 1 year anniversary, I though it appropriate to post my health status. I am feeling better than I have in 45 years. I was wary of going to a small town hospital for surgery. I based my faith on a single meeting with Dr. Duta, and was rewarded with a gifted surgeon who saved my life. Happy Anniversary, Dr. Duta, and thanks again.

Dr Duta turned my life around. I had severe backache and tummy ache for weeks. He removed my gallbladder and repaired a previous hernia surgery at the same time. He took the time to tell me and show me by drawings what was going on and how he was going to repair it. Three weeks after the surgeries I was free of any discomfort. I am 70 years old and feel like a new man. Thank You so much Dr Duta.
