Only cares about the money she can make. Doesn’t look after the patient.

We have been patients of dr Sidorov for over 15yrs. I think she is great. but Karen her receptionist is a piece of work. she argues with patients. She is terrible at her job, forget conversations, then lies to sidorov about what was said. i called the other date and booked an appt with another receptionist and i felt Finally!! someone who can actually function, unfortunately two days latre Karen calls to cancel my appt because there was too big of a gap in appt. sorry not my problem i already rearranged my schedule for this appt. so she further argues with me and then told me that i should just take my 14yr daughter to the walk in instead since i couldn't be flexible. Dr Sidorov please please get rid of Karen she is killing your practice!

I have had her as my Doctor for over 20 years. When I was younger she cared, as I got older with injuries all she would do is prescribe drugs instead of helping me with solving my medical issues. I recently called and booked a check up with her for an issue, her staff didn't listen to me at all while on the phone with them. They booked me 3 weeks in advance, then called me a week prior to my appointment and rebooked me for the following week. That is a month later, then when I arrived for my appointment they said I didn't have one and again wouldn't listen to me about my health issue when explaining the situation to her staff. I have had better treatment from the ER and walk in clinic. Guess I will continue that trend...

Been with her for 30 years. Great doctor. Full trust. She knew I was in the hospital with abdominal pain yesterday and phoned me first thing this morning. She has always been there for myself and my family.

Has been my GP for over 35 yrs. has never failed me! Saved my life twice! Always follows up on test results and recurring appointments. Refers and gets second opinions. Is very direct, it can be unexpected, don’t take it personally! She and staff work very hard. Office does not work with modern technology, I’m sure that creates more work for the office, but they’ve never lost anything in my file. Thank you Jana, and team for everything!

Too much to tell here how devastating our experience was with Dr Siderov and Mom's ovarian cancer. She was not proactive. Later in Mom's "cancer journey" , Dr. Siderov failed to identify our mother's aphasia . My mom had gone to see her with a nurse friend who strongly hinted at aphasia, but Dr. Siderov ignored the nurse and my Mom, and just sent them away. My nurse sister diagnosed Mom over the phone in 2 minutes from 3000 miles away, and we immediately took her to the ER and the brain tumors were found. I wish my mom had another Dr. instead of Siderov, Maybe she'd be alive today and not dead of ovarian cancer. Dr Siderov loves to hear herself talk, maybe she should listen more. At the end, when we questioned everything that happened, she was rude and refused to write my Mom, a patient of almost 20 years, a referral to another Dr. out of province when it was clear Mom was dying. If you have a sore throat or cold, fine, go ahead and see Dr. Siderov. If you have a serious illness, run. Seek another doctor immediately.

Way back in 1993. I still remember how terrible she was asa doctor all these years later. She was clearly focused on the money. Suprised she's still in practice.

Fair warning, it's a bit of a novel.
I don't know where to begin with how awful my experiences with Sidorov were. My husband is local to PG, and she was his GP growing up. Back in the day, I'm told she was a great Doctor. I'm not from around here, so when we got married I was 'fortunate' to be taken into her services. Fast forward a year, my husband and I are trying to have a baby. My first impression of her wasn't great, she referred to me as my husbands 'little lady' and would talk only to him despite it being an appointment for both of us. Low and behold I get pregnant, and she informs me after I'm pregnant that she no longer works with pregnant mom's, and I'd have to look elsewhere. Alright, that's fine. After our daughter is born, we bring her in when she's just under two weeks old with the intent of discussing our daughters cluster feeding because she's going through a growth spurt. Not only did Sidorov insist there's no such thing as cluster feeding, but she recommended we give our 11 DAY OLD daughter a bottle of water at night instead of letting her nurse to help with the 'unnecessary extra feedings.' Ever heard of hyponatremia? Basically, don't give water to babies under 6 months of age EVER. But Sidorov insisted this was the best course of action. We didn't follow her 'recommendations.' Despite being told that Sodirov would have nothing to do with the actual 'birthing' portion of my pregnancy, she still found time to have her receptionist phone me and shame me for going to a walk-in clinic and not booking an appointment with them. Between Sidorov chastising me for not being able to produce enough milk and 'daring ' to look into supplementing with formula, giving lethal advice about how to feed my daughter, and cancelling and rebooking almost every single appointment we've ever had so she and her receptionist can go home early (yes, this is a thing. Just ask, they'll admit it) we've had enough. Another thing, it's a small office with thin walls. And 'patient privacy' is absolute garbage there. The conversations I've heard that she shouts to her receptionist from across the already small office about personal patient information is horrendous. Full patient names and the reason they were in to see her that day. I know, I know, I could plug my ears... but that's not the point. Abysmal bedside manner, horrific suggestions on how to care for our newborn, lack of privacy (ever been in the middle of a pap smear and had someone walk into the room? I have.) Oh! And all patient files are paper based, and not digital. Which made for a VERY expensive transfer of patient files ($200+ for 2 adults and a baby). Here's hoping that building never catches on fire. As of last month, we have a new GP and have completed transferring our records to his office. Rant over.

Long story short, she may have been fabulous back in the day, but she needs to retire before she gives advice to other new parents who aren't willing to fact check before implementing her 'wisdom.'

Can’t believe the negative comments! BEST DOCTOR EVER! Caring, listens, asks questions and if she doesn’t know, she’ll refer you to a specialist. Rue the day she decides to retire. Outstanding human being.
