My husband had a follow up appointment today with Dr Ibrahim. Although my husband wasn't able to see Dr Ibrahim in person for the past couple of months,we are very pleased that Dr Ibrahim is part of the IMRAC PROGRAM at BGH. Dr Ibrahim has a very good manner explaining medical issues. My husband is very comfortable with his care. Please remember our family physicians are under a lot of pressure. Dr Ibrahim has made a referral for my husband a priority to see a specialist for follow up management beyond his scope of practice. Health care system is challenging now. Overall we're grateful to our family physicians.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Mahdi Ibrahim's medical practice, and I am compelled to share my exceptional experience. He is also a professor and researcher for many MD students. Everyone is in very good hands.

Dr Mahdi is overall ok unfortunately his reception runs the show and they run it like a circus we are ppl they lost many important test results they don’t answer the phone I could go on and on but I would much rather use my time to unfortunately find another Dr I don’t want to put my family and my Health in his staffs hands.

He does not flaunt medical knowledge. Wisdom and insight are on a need-to-know basis. He is encouraging and inspiring people to practice medicine who care. He does not jump to conclusions. People who negatively comment like to think they can hide behind negativity, personality, anonymity, poor grammar, and syntax. Focus on the positive. Dr. Ho will always be beloved by this community, but this is not his page. Not every doctor gets everything right on. Would you live in that world when you are slammed with all proper medical diagnoses at once? Dr. Ho could eat an apple day, quite literally, and avoid most doctors. They play an essential role in our community. We all get sick, it is not however anyone else's fault.

Love this dr would not change him for the world! Staff is wonderful and the pharmacist is very helpful and quite knowledgeable. Only thing is too long of a wait time.

Dr Ibrahim lacks knowledge and skill, there's no other way to say it. He has made 4-5 misdiagnoses including telling me I had cancer when I didn't. He could not tell if my ear drum was intact or not during an ear infection, he told me it was fully ruptured when it wasn't ruptured at all (I went to an ear/nose/throat Dr to confirm and the Dr laughed). He either makes a snap decision or will refer you on to a specialist for issues he should be able to assess (two specialists have said this to me). I seriously question his competency. He is an alarmist, will tell you it's the worst case scenario.
He makes errors on referrals or doesn't send off the referral at all. His reception staff is unorganized, does not return calls. It takes forever to get an appointment, I've had to wait weeks for an acute situation. I know there's a Dr shortage but honestly look elsewhere, one day this guy is going to make an error that costs someone their life.

I am one of Dr Edward Ho's patients who gave us the proper care. Now with Dr. Mahdi Ibrahim it is all down hill. I was in terrible pain last week and wanted to see him but the staff told me to came to the clinic. There I was told the wait time is 2 hours and I could not see him any sooner. I could not sit there for 2 hours so I left. I went to an other clinic and was treated right away. The medicine I was given was also not the proper dosage. Even with an appointment you still have to sit and wait up to an hour. LAZY receptionist sit there and watch the phone ring....the answering machine tells you to leave a message and "we will get back to you in 48 hours". Don't go there, I am looking for a better Healer.

Many Brantford elderly patients were under the care of Dr Edward Ho who resigned leaving many of Dr Ho's patients carrying over to Dr. Ibrahim's. However, unprofessional attitude of the office staff coupled with largely gross errors on care of an elderly patient and follow up under Dr Ibrahim's care has made our family seek clearer understanding elsewhere. Beware!
