Excellent psychiatrist. He's rather casual, but you can hear the gears whirring. Very intelligent and intuitive, but don't expect punctuality to be his strong point. Don't be offended if he tells you something you'd rather not hear: It's likely true.

He helped me a lot.

I find the accusation made below extremely insulting given I am a woman and have been under Dr.Ahkamis care since 2014. Nothing could be further from the truth, considering I have seen a lot of the same faces, during my monthly visits. Not one of those patients, woman nor man acted or looked like they were victimized in any way. Not okay to say things like this. Shame on you.

Dr Ahkami is a warm and caring Doctor. He will always make time for you even on his days off if need be. Any time I have had a problem with medication or life in general he is there to help. He is knowledgable and explains about the medications he has prescribed. I always feel comfortable with him, his secretary and his wife. His office is always cheery and bright.

Pls say away from Dr. Behzad Ahkami. He has a long story of molesting female patients under his care. You may wish to check legal records. and patients complaints.

Dr Ahkami is very skilled and knowledgeable about his job. He spends a lot of time to listen to you and discussing in details about the diagnosis and effects and side effects of medications . I never seen any doctor as kind and caring, I am surprised about some false comments about this wonderful doctor and I wonder if these individuals are really were his patients? Whoever see this doctor for a few sessions they would know how excellent doctor he is .

Their office is run like a McDonald's, you don't matter, people can just show up and step in front of your appointment. The receptionist is very rude, the Doctor can't control her, terrible.

I have been seeing Dr Ahkami for 9 months now an I find him to be very knowledgable and friendly an high qualified. Always takes time when explaining an never rushes you! The office staff is very friendly an always accomadating, while the office itself is always clean an neat. I would highly recommend Dr. Ahkami

I found Dr Ahkami very kind , friendly, knowledgeable. He is always available and you can reach him anytime. He is the best doctor I have ever seen and I highly recommend him .
