It doesn't matter what doctor you use, at some point that doctor doesn't have all the answers and sometimes makes the wrong call. I dare you to find ONE doctor that hasn't. My lifelong experience with Dr. Hendren has been a wonderful one. I have known him for years and he even cared for my elderly great grandmother and saved her life (although she has passed now). He is truly a caring, good man. I recommend him 100%!

He is not understanding and he preaches to you instead of trying to find out what is wrong. It is always your fault if something is wrong with you. I would not recommend him!

My daughter, 18 yrs. old, had pulmonary blood clots (in lungs). Her regular doctor was unavailable so Dr. Hendren was assigned at St. Mary's. The test showed (according to (Russellville's terrible radiologists) that she had a small clot in one lung. She was in severe pain but Hendren would not even prescribe anything. On the third day, he told her to get up and WALK. Any knowledgeable doctor knows moving around can do more damage. She was on oxygen and he removed it. In 30 minutes, her oxygen saturation declined to 88%. I told him to send her to Little Rock to a pulmonologist. Reluctantly, he did - saying "He will tell you the same thing I did." At once under the care of Dr. Florez in Little Rock, he put her in intensive care. After seeing the lung scans, he put her on a ventilator. Both lungs were filled with clots!!! This is a much longer story but the bottom line is DON'T TRUST DR. HENDREN... I almost lost my daughter because of him. Thank you Lord for taking care of her.

I had a blood clot and this doctor almost let me die. He did not listen to me and said that I was faking. He told me to 'pray' and I would get better. I later had to be transported to Little Rock and almost died because of his insufficiency. He has God syndrome and no bedside manner..unless you like to be preached at.
