An Amazing Dr at the Arnprior Hospital...I wish we could have her as our fulltime doctor

Out of all my years with Dr. Suzuki, she has been very degrading of my symptoms, which has led me to make use of Nurse Practitioners along with even a Naturopath. It took me 3+ years to get a referral for MH services from her along with medication. After seeking out professional MH services and receiving a diagnosis that claim permanent disability, all I got was to "get over it and over myself" with little to no knowledge of the in-depth details of my experiences and wanted me off my medication.

Myself and my family have been cared for by Dr. S and team for several years, and our experiences have been very positive. I feel very fortunate to have access to such wonderful healthcare.

Extremely knowledgeable and thorough. My specialist was surprised that a family doctor diagnosed my complex issue accurately and quickly made the correct referral. I am super lucky to have found her for myself and for my family. Thank you doctor.

Listens to me carefully and understood my worries. She explained with the level of detail I needed to be more comfortable with my situation. I am grateful. She is very knowledgeable and comforted to have a doctor like her.

She helped me and put the onus on me to change my lifestyle. Evil heh! Lol. I’ve seen her evolve and is much warmer than a decade ago. I like her thoroughness and has been an important factor in the health of the family and me.

This Dr. does everything she can to downplay your concerns. Attempts to deal with speciality issues herself and not refer you at the cost of your health. Also a pill pusher After years of worsening health issues she repeatedly shrugged off, said was normal and refused to refer me to a specialist - I switched drs and was immediately diagnosis with stage 4 endometriosis and endometriomas - with massive cysts, severe scarring causing organ issues (kissing ovaries titled uterus bowel involvment etc) and in desperate need of invasive surgery. Her diagnosis was IBS without much support from tests etc and repeatedly refused to refer me to gyne to address my issues, despite multiple requests and a worsening state over years. She only wanted to try out hormone meds on me without a proper indication of my condition and when requested to not be given more prescriptions as they made me suicidal I was met with distain and refusal to continue care for that issue. She did not order any tests beyond an ultrasound that indicated issues, that she ignored and felt no need to follow up on (when its medically required to). Other Dr.s and healthcare providers have suggested I report her or go as far as to sue her, but I cant give her any more of my time. Shes out dated on medical treatments (like thc/cbd has no medical uses, birth control is the only treatment for bad periods etc), gets whatever money she can out of you ("one issue at a time" and taking on care that should be turned over to a specialist). If youre in good health and just need reg checkups and odd work forms filled out she would be a good dr for you. If youre sick she will sooner see you get sicker to pad her wallet before shell give you due diligence and proper care or treatment and turn you over to drs more knowledgable. Also certain she has drug company deals as she will prescribe designer meds instead of generic to individuals that dont have insurance, giving different prescriptions to different patients for similar issues because of costs and kick backs. Doesnt care if you have the income or not to pay for expensive meds. My health is already improving just not being under her service anymore. I work professionally with many Drs and this is one of the worst Ive experienced. Im sorry for her patients.

I work in health care as a nurse and would never recommend this physician to anyone. She does not take her patients concerns seriously. She is not knowledgable and misdiagnoses (many posts here show the same!) Her rule is "one problem at a time" to ensure she gets financial gain from multiple appointments - even if your symptoms are all related. It is shameful that you cannot change doctors in Arnrpior when you have lost all confidence in your doctor.
