Dr. Waddell examined my mother, age 80 and pronounced that he could diagnose breast cancer with his fingers and did not need further tests such as ultrasound or MRI. He intended to hospitalize her for a excisional biopsy rather than a minimally invasive needle biopsy. This would have resulted in two surgeries rather than one. He stated that he would automatically take all her lymph nodes as a matter of fact rather than a less drastic testing and less invasive removal. We declined his offer. After seeing breast specialists in Oklahoma City, we found that he had the wrong diagnosis and she has no lymph involvement at all. Further, she did not have the kind of cancer he insisted she had. He would have ****ed her causing untold misery unnecessarily with the removal of all her lymph nodes. He stated that "that is what you get in rural oklahoma." No Thanks! Proceed with extreme caution as his fingers have obviously shown to be wrong.

Dr. Waddell did a real good job. I recently went to him for a hernia and he repaired it laproscopic. He even used old scars so that i would not have new scars on my abdomen. Before the Surgery he came out and comforted my wife (we've been married 4 years and this is our first surgery together) he was very thorough in explaining the procedure to us. His ablilty to ease my wife's fears for me were awesome. He even took the time to sit on the side of my hospital bed to allow her a question and answer session. His gentle approach and bedside manner really won us over and alleviated my wifes fears. The surgery & recovery went really well; he sent me enough pain medicine so that pain was rarely and issue. I had him paged the day after surgery to ask about cleaning and redressing the incisional site and he promptly called me 5 minutes after my page went to him.He was not annoyed or angry i had called him but rather offered advice on how to care for the incision. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM! :)

Healthchoice Insurance. My husband and I have been patients of Dr Waddell for more than 10 years. He is very knowledgeable and patient oriented physician. As long and Dr Waddell is practicing, we will be his patients!!!
