Dr Leifer has been our family doctor for over 18 yrs. He's been very caring and supportive through three of my pregnancies and been there in emergencies. Often addresses the little things right there in the office. And he has helped me raise my three kids with the best possible care.

Has been helpful to both myself and my family over 5+ years. Has met GP expectations. Has been very helpful at organizing various specialists. Consistently suggestive in terms of what to be aware of. Dry humour personality type.

The previous remarks are obviously very subjective. For us, he does do what's expected of a GP - actually very engaging at times also. He often surprises us with his dry humour. Overall care - quite satisfactory.

He's cold, uncaring and doesn't try to help you out. No bedside manner and reluctant to pass you on to specialists or take the time to really consider your problem unless it's readily apparent. It always seems like you are bothering him, and often he seems rushed or bored. Go to one of the other doctors in the building or elsewhere... You will only end up frustated with him as I did. My collegue went to him as well and changed doctors too.

He is not knowledgeable at all. He thinks that antibiotics are the solution to every problem. He takes the time to listen to your problem, but has no up to date medical knowledge.

Dr. Leifer has been great to our family. He may lack bed side manner...but he knows his stuff. After all you are going for your health, not for coffee. He is a great doctor.

Unhelpful physician with lack of up to date knowledge. When a semen analysis revealed that my husband had a fertility issue, Dr. Leifer said that there was nothing that could be done. After spending about 10 minutes on google, I determined that there were indeed many possible treatment options. We phoned Dr. Leifer back and requested a referral to an infertility specialist...but he indicated that he didn't know of any. So..again I had to google myself for suitable specialists. Dr. Leifer did refer me to the specialist I requested, and my husband and I are now the proud parents of two boys.

I have been his patient for 15 years. I do feel that he is kind and compassionate. I have found him to be quite willing to spend any amount of time necessary to discuss the problems that I have consulted him about.
