Best experience that I have ever had with a doctor and his office staff Not only did he make my diagnosis, that other physicians did not, but the results from my surgery were excellent. I recommend him highly

My 16 year old daughter was diagnosed with a disfunctional gallbladder & was recommended to be removed. We were referred to Dr Kasserman for the procedure on 28 Jun 13. All appeared to have gone well until 24 hrs later my daughter started suffering from nausea & pain. By Mon she was violently ill & turning jaundice. She was ambulanced to UMC in Tucson for tests which determined Dr Kasserman had made a huge mistake. He stapled the common bile duct to her liver shut & she was expieriencing the beginnings of liver failure. She was rushed into emergency surgery which lasted 7 hrs they had to take a section of her small intestine & reconstruct a new common bile duct for her liver since Kasserman placed 3 clips on the duct it was annialated. My daughter suffered pain beyond words which thankfully for the amount of drugs being pumped into her, she does not remember. However, my husband & I...it is burned into our minds for good.

I just moved to Arizona and was having abdominal pain and nausea. Not being from the area I was not sure where to go or what kind of doctor to see for that matter. I have family in the Sierra Vista area and I was given a card for a Dr. David Kasserman M.D., F.A.C.S.. Whom had recently joined the Sierra Vista medical group. The staff was sweet as sugar. I was taken back to see Dr. K..He had quite a way of making me feel very comfortable and an extremely scary time. Initially he spoke with me about the move and how I liked the area. He was forthright about my exam and explained in plain terms his diagnoses and the next week I was on the operating table. I am sure I exhausted him with all of my questions, but he was empathetic and patient with me. My surgery was a breeze and Dr. K was right there with my family when I woke. I am so thankful for Dr. K and Sierra Vista regional medical group. He is a true surgeon and great addition to the hospital.

Worst bedside manor I have ever experienced. Dr.Kasserman's colleague was by far the most disrespectful physician I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. Total lack of reguard for the patients comfort or medical stability. I would NEVER use either of these surgeons again and I would surly not recommend this office to anyone! In fact I would urge friends and family to find more qualified surgeons in the Sierra Vista area or better yet in Tucson.
