Dr. Bradford was uninterested in the external hemorrhoid I came to see him about, and was very interested in checking me for internal hemorrhoids. He found two, and immediately started talking to me about his unique treatment of internal hemorrhoids. I was also interested in discussing the treatment options for the external one, before it grew into something more serious. He did say that the external one would remain as it was and would not disappear on its own. However, within two weeks of my visit with him, it did. It completely cleared itself up without any treatment from him, nor any other physician, nor even from myself. At one point, I explained to him that I had had a hemorrhoidpexy performed on some other internal hemorrhoids 15 years earlier. He then asked, “Hemorrhoidpexy? What is that?” In fairness to him, I have since found that the more common name of the procedure is “HemorrhoidOpexy” . Note the additional O. However, both terms are used.
