Dr. Feltner is a good doctor. Unfortunately, her office staff is not always helpful, and since they represent Dr. Feltner she gets a bad reputation as well. She has been my family's doctor for over 20 years and I have always been happy with her. She retired this month, so I will be looking for another doctor, in another office. I have had similar poor experiences with appointments and prescriptions for an out-of-town college student. The biggest problem might not be the staff or doctors, but the health insurance red tape and interpreting the paperwork and rules, but common sense should be used more often. I'm not sure if it's any different at other offices, but I hope to find a caring doctor to replace Dr. Feltner.

Staff and doctor treat us like criminals every time we call for a regular prescription of a controlled substance. Dr also insisted on seeing patient even though patient is many hours away as a student unable to return to area until after semester ends. Calling office is difficult - always on hold. Pharmacy could not reach office either. Have witnessed this in the office as well - phone is rarely answered promptly even if multiple people are sitting at desks in office area. Staff never seems in a rush to take care of patients waiting in line for open window. Complete lack of customer service from top to bottom. Would NOT recommend.

Was having an asthma attack and tried to get in touch with the office from my cell phone. Remained on HOLD for 30 when I had someone drive me there, 20min. away and was still on hold when I walked into the office. This was not acceptable. I ended up in the emergency room.

Friendly doctor but I do NOT recommend. Seems like not enough resources to handle the patient load. VERY unorganized office. Good luck getting ahold of anyone over the phone. Made an appt for exam, paid a copay just to have my history taken and told that I could schedule an exam...the earliest opening was in 4 months. When I finally got an exam, my bloodwork results were read incorrectly and/or the doctor ordered the wrong kind of blood test to begin with. After the exam I called for test results, as I was instructed, and was told results were normal. SEVEN MONTHS LATER I was informed that the results were actually abnormal and I needed follow-up testing. The nurse claimed they had tried to contact me months earlier, which they had not.
