He is not caring at all all he worries about is covering his you know what afther 20 years of going to him I'm done, when I told him my health plan doesn't cover the drug he prescribed for me he said that's not his problem!!!! I have been wanting to switch for years now he really pushed me to my limit I wouldn't recommend this doctor to my worst enemy my wife left him years ago which I should have done also, he has a great staff but his partner Dr Keith is even worse! Ever since he became any employee of Lordes medical and not his practice he couldn't care less if you go somewhere else he still gets his same salary.

Thought it was just me... this office requires in-person check-ups and blood tests for any renewals of routine maintenance meds (thyroid and blood pressure). Prior doctors (over several decades) always allowed me to float at least 1-2 years between visits, as long as I had no impending health issues, but this office won't budge. Dr. Keith is definitely the way to go... Dr. Levin is arrogant and dismissive - he once told me that I should ignore medication warnings about side effects; that those warnings don't apply to me. I keep going because thge office is close to where I live, and they already have my medical history... but deep down inside, I know that I'll be shopping for a new doctor the minute I actually need medical care.

I USUALLY REQUEST KEITH, THE PHYSICIANS ASSISTANT. IF HE WAS NOT ON STAFF I WOULD LEAVE. HE GETS HIGH GRADES FOR BEING THOROUGH AND ACTUALLY PRESCRIBING MEDICINES AND TESTS. DOC LEVIN, I CONSIDER AN OLD TIME DOCTOR WHO WAS FINE 20 YEARS AGO BUT NOW I PREFER KEITH. HIS APPROACH TO TREATMENT HAS HELPED ME SOLVE SEVERAL MEDICAL PROBLEMS WHICH WENT UNRESOLVED FOR YEARS. ONE NEGATIVE IS THAT THEY WANT YOU TO COME IN TO THE OFFICE NO MATTER WHAT THE QUESTION OR PROBLEM. IT DOES SEEM THAT THE CO-PAY IS IMPORTANT. I ONCE TRIED TO ASK DR LEVIN AN UNRELATED QUESTION AND HE TOLD ME TO MAKE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT TO DISCUSS THAT MATTER. THE STAFF IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND I AM USUALLY SEEN WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF MY ARRIVAL. BLOOD TESTS AND OTHER TEST RESULTS ARE NOT REVIEWED UNTIL YOU'RE ACTUALLY SITTING IN FRONT OF THEM. HEAVEN FORBID IF YOUR TESTS SHOWED ANYTHING SERIOUSLY WRONG. NO ONE WOULD KNOW UNTIL YOU MADE AND KEPT AN OFFICE VISIT.

He should retire. He doesn't listen, doesn't ask any questions outside the legal limit, doesn't review results of lab work, blood pressures taken and any other findings. Appears he does not like his job, except when he is leaving the room, then he cheers up. Minimal prescribing appears to be personal philosophy. Minimal testing. Does what ins. score cards require and does or recommends ALL of them. Medicine has passed him. Technology is just not there from medical records to equipment. A 1970 blood pressure mercury manometer, tongue depressors, scale, and otoscope, stethescope. Last time in he didn't listen to my heart? No referrals for any complaints (he ignores your complaints). 30 years and he has no clue of my medical history, I have to remind him. Doesn't prescribe but still sees sales reps? is that where he gets his Continuing education? I can not recommend him. His circle of referrals is small and in same class of semi-interested physicians. Needs to listen and communicate

Very thorough & knowlegable, but not best bed side manner. Won't make any kind of call in to pharm.for meds for general illness... always have to go in even if long time patient--gotta get that co-pay!!!
