First visit with Dr. Soren. Couldn't be more pleased. Dr. Soren and his staff a Forest Hills Vision Associates made my visit easy, comfortable and complete. Has absolutely state of the art equipment and knows his stuff. Quite familiar with a relatively rare condition (in men) I have and took the time to show me the pics of my retinas to explain. He didn't diagnose it. I already knew but I appreciated his obvious knowledge. Wherever the negative reviews came from, who knows. Ignore them. I think he's just great. (Even if he is a Yankee fan.)

I've been going to Dr. Soren's office for years now and please to have him as my doctor. The office staff are professional and the waiting time is not long at all. Don't listen to the bad comments posted here,...try this office out yourself.

I have been a patient of Dr. Soren's for over 10 years now and have found him and his staff to be exemplary, helpful and courteous. All the glasses I have purchased have the best quality lenses I have filled any place prior. Virginia is a genius in helping picking out the perfect frames.

I have to say, some of the comments on here are unfair. These people have been in business for over 30 years for a reason. My friend referred me to Dr. Soren. I am just very pleased with the way I was treated, and the amount of attention I got. These people really care about my health, they have some pretty amazing technology to ensure you get a very detailed eye exam.

I've been going to Dr. Soren for about 10 years. He moves fast and gives a thorough exam. The staff is nice. Marcia is great with picking out glasses. I've sent at least 5 friends to him and I think they're all now regular patients. This is the only doctor I don't mind seeing.

I agree with the majority of the comments. Dr Soren is demeaning and acted as though my prescription was wrong and that I have been wearing the incorrect contact lenses my whole life! It was more of a lecture than a suggestion. When I tried his suggestion for different contacts, he never wrote down which ones I was given to try. The assistant thew away the containers, so I didnt even know what they were. Then when I returned the following week, they had no idea what I had tried! This is total mis-communication and poor organization. Dr Soren does have an attitude and was running late for every follow-up appointment I made. I would NOT recommend this eye doctor to ANYONE!

Dr Soren was extremely rude and dismissive after receiving my money. My left and right eye needed different prescriptions and he prescribed both eyes the same lens, when I brought it up, he said "it's not going to make much of a difference." Really? .50 difference and an astigmatism in one eye isn't going to make a difference?! His attitude and greed was sickening. I was charged for a routine check up that my insurance should have covered fully. This guy is clearly out to line his pockets with money any way he can. I wouldn't be surprised if the only good rating on this page was typed by one of his staff.

My experience with Dr. Soren and his staff were the complete opposite of what has been reported here. All of them are very quick and to the point, but not rude at all. Dr. Soren answered all the questions that I had without an attitude. He went through my eye test results with me and explained what he was looking at. I felt very comfortable with him and I he seemed knowledgeable. I went in for contacts and he switched me to a brand that is way more comfortable than the ones I was wearing. Overall a very good and efficient experience. I was in and out in 30 minutes. I've been to a few eye doctors befoe and I didn't feel like Dr. Soren skipped any steps or rushed me through. I would recommend him without hesitation.

A bit patronizing but gets the job done. Some of the staff is nice while some are downright mean.
