have been Dr. Spicer's patient for years. would be hard pressed to find another doctor with such compassion these days. tries to get to bottom of issues but not afraid to refer out if he cannot. exceptional, caring, genuine. he's one of the few doctors who listens and puts patients first. you are treated as a person, not a number or a pay check. feel very fortunate to have Dr. Spicer as our family physician. I am dreading the day he decides to retire. his nurse Cathy B. is the best! Dr. Spicer and his nurse go well beyond the norm for their patients!

In a world where our Health Care seems to be dictated by Ins. companies, rather than a Doctor addressing the best interest of his patient, Dr. John Spicer stands out as what a good Family Physician once was, and should be. He takes the time each individual requires, rather than an assembly line approach.So yes, sometimes he may be running behind. But recently an informal poll of those of us waiting in his outer office, revealed that we were MORE THAN WILLING to wait; because next time one of us could be the patient whom required a little bit more of him. And all of us agreed, he was the best GP we had EVER known.His thorough care not only addresses the health issue at hand, but each patient as a "WHOLE individual"; giving attention to other circumstances that may have an affect on a patients well being.These words come from someone who had totally lost faith in the dedication of Doctors, and the Industry as a whole. This community is very fortunate to have someone of his caliber. ECI
