Dr. Cottier is undoubtedly the best general practitioner that I have ever had. I suffer from fibromyalgia and chronic pain. Very few doctors truly understand what you are suffering and some doctors will even make you feel like it is all in your head. Dr. Cottier understands neuropathic pain and will take the time to discuss it and explain it. He truly is an exceptional and caring physician.

I was deeply saddened when he left Edmonton to re-locate in Calgary, I am still looking for a good doctor who understands what I suffer without success. :(

I went in for 2 reasons: a sore back and a very persistent cough. Dr. Cottier gave me prescription painkillers for my back problem and went on to explain why he wasn't going to give me antibiotics for my cough, giving me a short list of foods that would help and telling me he wanted the cough to run its natural course. I've never had a doctor do that before. All the other doctors at that Medicentre, especially Dr. Alarape (who is terrible, btw), are prescription hounds, writing one out for any little ailment just to make more money. I was very pleased with Dr. Cottier. Next time I'm in there I'm requesting him especially.

Saw him today at a walkin. Very caring and a brilliant doctor. It's hard to find a good Dr. These days. Both my wife & I got good impressions from him. All I can say is I now have a new family doctor..

This is a kind Doctor with knowledge. This Dr. is one of a kind and if you really need compassion and a person to care in the medical field---then i encourage you to see Dr. Cottier. He is not your typical shaven doctor, but he will care about you and count you just as important as the queen. I am thankful that Dr. Cottier has been a caretaker of myself.

I have no regular family doctor so I found Dr Cottier by chance at a walk in clinic. I find he is an amazing caring person and a fantastic Dr he gives one the feeling that he genuinely interested in helping you. He correctly diagnosed my problem and after sending me for tests I found out that I had a blood clot in my leg.I am fine now and my whole family goes to see him with their health problems. Thank you Dr Cottier please don't retire.
