I saw Dr. Klenk 3 times and each encounter was worse than the last. I was diagnosed with a serious medical condition but she had no idea what to do for treatment or specialists in that area to talk to or anything related to my care. In fact all she talked about was how bad she felt giving me bad news and how surprised she felt about my results. Tough on her I am sure but tougher on me and I got no help from her about treatment options or my need for answers. I had to seek out my own information about my illness and then went to another doctor in another city for treatment because Dr. Klenk seemed clueless and truly uncaring. Avoid this woman - she doesn't care about you as a patient or a person and most certainly won't be very helpful if something really is wrong.

I feel she was quite overzealous by immediately ordering a series of tests that were not necessary - EKG, HIV test, etc., which all came out negative, especially as I did not have any symptoms! I have heard from others that she has done the same to them - got them scared about some serioues disorder, and then ordered unecessary, exptensive tests. This provider talks down to you, almost with a military-style demeanor. She does not receive a patient's own suggestions or questions well if you try to interject a comment during the visit. She seems very narrow-minded and non-receptive to a patient. I only went once to her, and that was enough. If you want to feel comfortable and listened to as a patient, I would not recommend Dr. Klenk to you.
