My grandfather had been suffering from abdominal pain for weeks, when finally being referred to Dr. Lin. Once an appointment was scheduled, we were informed it would be at least a month before being seen. It took a fall and a trip to the hospital for Dr. Lin to take time out of his schedule to come and diagnose my grandfather. At that time he proceeds to be incredibly rude and abrasive when giving options. Never have I seen someone so cold when a family is in a crisis and needs some reassurance and help. Not only would I never recommend this person, I would vote to have his license to practice revoked.

After 3 months of digestive problems, I have seen this doctor only once. He sent me for a blood test. After waiting more than 2 weeks for the result he told me I had a high liver reading and he sent me for the same blood test. These results somehow took 3 weeks to arrive and surprise! they were the same. Then he sent me for a 3rd blood test. I have been waiting more than 30 days for these results. Every time I call for them the staff repeats the results of my 2nd test and have no knowledge of my 3rd test. Meanwhile, Dr Lin has ignored my preliminary complaints and the symptoms continue to worsen. Since my liver is high and undiagnosed I cannot take any OTC meds for cold, flu, headache, fever, etc., which are occuring more and more often. When I called last and complained about original symptoms they told me I could get an appointment in 3 1/2 weeks. I have an appt with a new GI specialist in 2 days...

My mother was having a diverticulitis attack, and rather than send her to the emergency room for a CAT scan, was told she'd have to wait until the next week for an appointment. Was not impressed, since I myself have an excellent gastroenterologist.

My father died as a result of an incorrectly placed feeding tube inserted by Dr. Lin. He punctured the large intestine, which led to gangrene and several surgery's to repair the hole and later to remove part of the large intestine. The physician who repaired the hole was amazed my father was still alive, and horrified at what he saw. My father died as a result of all these procedures occuring after being on a feeding tube which provided little nutrition. I referred the case to the state board of quality assurance, who did nothing.
