I suffered from lupus and did not know because this doctor insisted I was an emotional woman and needed paxil. 3 Psychiatric evaluations found me to be perfectly sane and in fact in need of medical care for my critically low potassium, heart rythm issues ( I was in ICU several times for this) and muscle pain/weakness. She had mentioned lupus before, however she said she did not want to give me that diagnosis because the treatment was chemotherapy drugs. Since leaving her practice, I have been diagnosed with lupus. I am on Steroids and potassium chloride to keep me alive. This doctor did not know the basics of medicine such as potassium regulates blood sugar and if your potassium is low, your blood sugar can be high. She constantly talked about her practice not making enough money, and instead of treating me with the medication I needed to prevent further organ damage, she wanted me to come in 3 times a week for osteopathic manipluations which = $$ for her. DO NOT RISK YOUR LIFE W/HER
