Don't expect the front desk staff to be considerate or reliable. They are rude on the phone. They are not helpful. They are in no hurry to get your (much needed) prescriptions to the doctor to sign off for the pharmacy , and I've also experienced not getting the correct referal appointments booked or information passed onto my doctor. As for Dr. Micheal, he's always been friendly, patient, and understanding. I just wish we could get an appointment with him when it's needed. He's always booked up for weeks. Most people are sent to emerg. when they need to see a doctor.

Its unfortunate that this day in age, when you live in a small town is really hard to get justice for a dr.s mistakes. Is one thing to make mistakes, we all do, but the oath that a Dr takes is considered one of the greatest oaths ever thought of. When one becomes a dr. They know the responsibilities are great, is not an easy job. Realistically Dr. M. Burger should NOT have a license to practicie. It's not just the patient, it's the family as well. With a miss diagnosis of cancer, one of our closest family members went threw 4 months of unessesary pain and anguish.. Sent home to die basically, on high dose pain meds dr. Burger never listened to what the real problem was and unfortunately it almost cost a life. The supposed cancer was nothing more then a weird viruse. While undergoing some seriously invasive test s etc. All the doc. Had to do was test for a virus something the family had begged him to do from the get go. Dr.B had refused stating "testing for all sorts of viruses would take forever and that's not the problem. When he went on vacation and another dr stepped in is when we found out the truth, it was just a virus. However not being treated for almost 5 month at that time, the patients system was compromised for the rest of life. when a clean bill of health was issues, the virus treated ,it was an unessessary long recovery. he system becomes compromised when not treated correctly for a length of time.
When confronted he got angry, defensive and even threatening. If we took him before the review board like he should be any one in our family could potentially run the risk of not being cared for properly at the hospital. In a dr. Office you would get the right care - the hospital is another thing as the staff must listen to which ever dr. Is on call/ shift. We are not the only family suffering from dr.Burgers mistakes. I personally know of 5 other patients with dr. B. have suffered misdiagnoses and in fact now have issues haunting them for life. To scared and dont have the financial backing to fight the dr. They have felt powerless.
As in our case as well. This should never be the case when there are more than one misdiagnosis whe can the public go and not feel threatened by turning in a dr. That does not uphold the oath to HARM NONE?

Love Michael. He is thorough. Listens. Checks. Shows you the problem. I think he is one of the best doctors in town. In fact I have dealt with most of the doctors in that office at one time or the other and found all of them
totally awesome

Needs to go back where he came from! Doesn't know Canadian law. Makes threats. Doesn't do anything that is common sense. He has a problem with people telling him what they would like. Has the attitude that he's God. Makes people suffer instead of taking steps to resolve their issues. This guy is a Wack job!!! And get this people, if you tell him off and what you think of him and hold him accountable for his stupid mistakes, he can't deal with it. He then goes over the deep end because he knows he was wrong and instead of taking responsibility for it.
