God complex is high with this doctor. Don’t bother trying to explain your symptoms he already knows them … didn’t know he was a psychic

Don't ever make suggestions to Dr. Nel on what may be wrong with you, or you will be subjected to a professional temper tantrum bordering on abuse. I believe he's narcissistic and don't you dare have the nerve to inform yourself about what could be wrong with you. He's berated me twice, and the first time I apologized in spite of knowing that I'm not the one that was in the wrong. I definitely won't be apologizing again. He certainly thinks that he's a god, and I can't wait until the real God reigns his ego in.

I have been seeing Dr Nel for close to 10 years. Best doctor I have had in over 50 years. caring and knowledgable.

I have been going to Dr Nel for the past 15 years and has changed my life with his compassion and knowledge. He is liking talking to your best friend, I drive from Red deer to see him now and when I lived in Saskatchewan I would drive from there when I needed to see him.

I have been seeing Dr. Nel for many years, I still make the drive to see him even after moving to North Calgary. He is a fantastic doctor, listens intently, takes every concern seriously and imparts knowledge in a friendly way that is easy to understand. I place a high level of trust in his ability to look after my health interest!

I saw Dr Nel at the Urgent Care facility and have never been so impressed with a doctor. His level of empathy and caring was such a relief, and after seeking out numerous specialists over the years to help me with my crippling sciatic pain, he was the first to explain what is likely causing it and how we could get to the root of the problem rather than just treating the pain symptoms. He was also the first to find a pain management strategy that is helping, and I went from being bed-ridden yesterday to walking around completely normally today. I wish he was my family doctor - he's amazing! I would give him a hug if that wasn't totally weird :)

Found Dr. Nel a very good and competent doctor. Always found him very helpful and willing to impart good advice. His staff at the front end can be a bit pushy and short on patience.
