One of my worst medical encounters. Dismissive, would not answer basic questions.

Dr. McKillop is rated among the top 5 ophthalmologists in Seattle. He is most personable and very knowledgeable in his field. I have been one of his patients for 14 years and during that time he has treated me for glaucoma and has himself surgically removed two cataracts from both of my eyes. You will find no ophthalmologist better than Dr. Brian McKillop.

This doc specializes in Corneas. If you don't HAVE to see him, choose someone else such as his EXCELLENT partner, Dr. Nguyen (pronounced Win). Dr. McKillop made me feel horrible. According to my regular doc, Dr. McKillop really knows his stuff, but he fails as a person. When I asked him how long it would take for the lab to return results on a culture, Dr. McKillop said, "I don't have time for your questions." I repeated the question, and he again said that he did not have time to answer my questions. When I said that I needed the answers because my referring doc said that I needed to be treated today. He replied that I'd just have to trust him or I would have to leave NOW. When I said that this was the first time I'd ever met him, so why should I trust him when I didn't even know him, he said that if I didn't say that I trusted him, "You're outa here!" Then he threw everything down and stomped out. He behaves like a child who doesn't care at all about the people he treats. Avoid him!
