Dr Stackhouse accepted our family as new patients , including my 93 year old mother. She did a complete thorough exam and history with kindness and understanding especially with my mother, which was so needed after having a condescending mentally abusive Dr for the past 40 years , which caused alot of anxiety during appointments . She took my family as patients and did a thorough check on my husband, sister and children. She literally sat with each of them and thoroughly went over our back ground medical profiles and then ordered various tests for them. The follow up was very personal, which made us feel heard and comforted. Her staff was just as kind and welcoming. Yes, a couple times we waited a little longer than expected, but considering the conversation and thoroughness of the appointments with us, I would prefer the tardiness vice ruah in and rush out like previous doctors, leaving us feeling uneasy, unheard and still searching for answers.

Refused to refer me to psychiatrist, although I have been struggling with diagnosed mental health conditions since I was 14. She didn’t believe that I knew what was happening with my mental health. After this I had a mental breakdown which I believe could have been avoided with the psychiatric help I had previously requested. I ended up needing to leave my job for almost a year and when I would go to her for help she would try to prescribe me medications she had already prescribed me that did terrible things to my body. She also did not “fax” her section of my disability form.. I had intentions on mailing it myself but she convinced me that if she did it they would get it faster. Her actions have caused significant damage to my finances and all I could think after this mistreatment is that this is how people become homeless. She should be ashamed of how she treats her patients. Condescending and dangerous doctor, you’re better off going to a clinic or the ER.

Nice person, terrible doctor. I've seen her in her Fredericton office. Wait time is 2 hours on average. She'll take phone calls in the middle of the your appointment - and these aren't quick phone calls either. Her patient files aren't kept secure, they are in cardboard boxes in one of the examination rooms. I've gone to her for mental health issues twice and she's completely dismissed me both times (told me to stop drinking my 1 coffee a day). The receptionist is scary and rude. The office itself is dirty. Would advise to never step foot in that place.

You have to on your death bed in order for her to take you seriously. Very condescending. Takes phone calls in the middle of appointments. Breaches confidentiality.

Always quick to rush and push a prescription without actually listening to discussing issues.

The receptionist is one of the rudest people you will ever deal with. Little to no time to actually help patients. Spoken to rudely too or rushed off the phone numerous times because she was "too busy" to discuss or answer any questions.

Will tell you to do one thing one week and than tell you she has never said the next week. (Even thought I have the text msg from the previous week showing information on said instructions)

I don't even like to go there if I HAVE to. All around experience is always horrible inside and outside of the doctors room. Been years and she still can't seem to find a reason to why I'm fainting all the time. Keeps pushing the same tests and expecting different results and never trying or looking for other possible reasons/solutions/diagnosis.

Im sadly to the point where I'm ready to give up with this doctor. Also feel bad for wasting the hospitals time when I could be seeing my doctor for the same things she doesn't help with.

Dr. Stackhouse went beyond my expectations and displayed phenomenal compassion and understanding during my last visit. She even went the extra mile to make sure I'd receive what I needed. Very grateful to have her as a doctor.

Dr Stackhouse has passion for what she does. She is thorough, kind and very interactive. She is what doctors use to be. I feel very privileged to have her as my dr. She takes the time to listen and is humble and very down to earth.. she’s a very caring doctor.
