She did more for me in 45 minutes than my family Dr. Had in 4 years. 50 stars out of ten- what every Dr. Should strive for!

Dr Shelagh Leahey,is without a doubt,the most gifted doctor,Yarmouth will ever have.Dr Leahey had four generations of my family and I had her for thirty one years.She is the best Doctor,listener,is always right on,never rushed me and I will miss her forever.I have no Doctor now and I will never have one as good as she was.I want to say a big thank you Shelagh,you are the best in every way of being a doctor and someone I came to feel as my friend.

I had Shelagh for 30 yrs. Had a few health problems she fixed over the years. I wish I still had her I miss her lot. Shelagh is a good Doctor and friend. I felt like I knew her inside out. When I had a very Serious healt problem I wanted her back again as my Doctor now is not alot of help and makes me feel very little.

There are not enough words to praise this Doctor! I had her for thirty one years,moved back home with health problems that another doctor never found.I had the good fortune of her being on call that night.Dr Leahey had four generations in my family,and she was so loved and respected.She wasn't just our doctor,she was our friend,and I miss her more than words can say.She can't be replaced,and never will be.When you went to her,she knew what pills you were on,had the best memory I have ever seen and took the time,never rushed me.If there were ten thousand words that could be used here to describe her,they would all be of praise,respect and sadness from not having her anymore.When she retired and moved on to her other field of work,I was honestly depressed and still grieve over the loss of not having her.I feel afraid and have not and never will have the great care I had with her.It's hard to go from steak to hamburg!!

Dr. Leahy was my Doctor for 30 years . I seen Dr. leahy in out patient said to my self I would like to have her for my Doctor. The next thing I knew she was my Doctor as my own Doctor G.M. MacDonald passed away and she took on his patients. I had a few problems and she took care of them right away. In 1994 I had cancer and she was real good with me, even gave her phone number to me in case I had any prolems at home on holidays or week-ends. I only had to use this number once as I would never abuse her trust in me. When Dr. Leahy left to be in charge of a clinic I was lost without her and did not know what I was going to do. Then Dr. A. Mararis took her place and I am happy but still miss her. There will never be another female doctor like her. Thanks Dr. Leahy for being there.

Dr. Leahey is a wonderful Dr. She took care of my husband when he had cancer.She made house calls when it got to bad for him to travel there. After he died she took care of me because i was a wreck. She was so good to talk to and i miss her very much.Thanks to her i am fine today 18 years later. good luck Dr. leahey. miss you very much!!
