Although the support staff is awesome to deal with Dr Giebelhaus needs to improve when working with children. On several occasions complained that my boys are impossible to work on and openly shows frustration when kids get emotional about work being done. Not willing to adapt to working with disabled children at all which if you know the family is ironic. Do not recommend for kids.

All of the staff go out of their way to make your visit as pleasant as possible. They make sure you are comfortable during the whole procedure. They seem to take a personal interest in you, make you feel like family. They take the extra time to answer all your questions. The waiting room feels like a lounge instead of a cold office type waiting room.

Dr. Giebelhaus is wonderful, worth the trip to Mayerthorpe. He is a very knowledgable man and does great work.

Love Dr.G and his staff. Have gone to him for many years and my teeth look great. Maybe if the kids were better behaved it would make it easier.

Doesn't like working on children. Left my neice with a open hole in one of her teeth, saying she was impossible to work on. My sister had to go to Whitecourt to another dentist. Doctor told her that her daughter sat wonderfully. They couldn't believe that they left a hole in a 6 yr olds tooth.

Abrupt, short tempered, tries to book services not needed and quite expensive (bleaching on a 72 year old?). Pushes religion. Drive to Whitecourt and save yourself money and your dignity. If you are into emotional punishment, go to him.
