docter is smart but doesnt listen to what you have to say i have had him my whole life and his solution to most problems is to lose more weight and eat more vegitables in some cases yes that works but not every case and will not refer you until you do lose the weight. he is good in the fact that he does not like throwing pills at every problem but hates referring patients

i have lived all across this country as far west as you can go and as far east as you can go and in between. Dr Sin Yan Too is bar far the best doctor i have ever seen. He doesnt try to shove meds into you but instead finds the source of your problem. Great personality and a good sense of humour. His staff is the Best!!!

He used to be ok, it's like he's changed the last few years. He hates referring you to specialists. Doesn't listen to what you say. Doesn't believe you or take you seriously. I've been misdiagnosed. I've been suffering for 2 years now with an extremely painful condition that he won't help me with.. now I just want a referral to a specialist in the field. Recently he when I asked to go for a colonoscopy because of my age (49), he told me to wait until I was 60-62 yrs old, that that's the appropriate age for one and he would refer me then. I insisted on this one & the doctor who performed it said it was a very good thing that I came when I did. Turns out I did need one & have to go back again soon for another. I have decided there is no point going back to this Dr , I'm fed up. I know there are no doctors but I would rather wait 6 hrs in an ER I guess than see this doctor again. He's not helping me anyway & I'm suffering so what's the point?

This is the worst doctor I have ever seen, and I see alot of doctors. He accused me of alcoholism because my liver alkalines were elevated to due a condition for which I see a specialist, that continued for more than 3 visits even after my specialist said it was normal for my condition and at 5'1" 107 lbs he told me for the second time that I had put on too much weight and should be losing some also contradicting my specialist. I have waited for more than 2 hours after my scheduled appointment and he's not even in the office! He actually gets insulted when I listen to a specialist clinic that has kept me alive for 28yrs when he's done nothing for me. In the 8yrs that I've seen him regularily I have never seen him wash his hands, just goes from patient to patient.

Not helpful at all. I had a problem back in August 08 and he did nothing but prescribe antibiotics that did not and would never help. The last prescription he gave me was for something not even close to what i had. It wasnt until March that i went to the er cause i became very sick that the doctor there refered me to a surgeon. Now if Sin yan had half a clue this could have been taken care of months ago. When I went to his office for a physical before surgery he made the comment, "Oh you finally decided to have the surgery" he never told me I would need surgery and I'm not a doctor he is somehow. It makes me think of all the patients he sees and how many of them actually have a more serious problem then what he says. Dr. Sin Yan Too is nothing but a legalized drug dealer, he would rather write a prescription then deal with the problem the right way.

I am very happy with Dr. Sin Yan Too. He is very dedicated to his patients, caring, knowlegeable, very smart. I will be sad when he retires.

I have had Dr. Sin Yan Too as a doctor personally, and for my daughters, for many years. I have no complaints. I think he is doing an excellent job and deserves much more credit than he is receiving. I have definitely had worse. His office staff is wonderful, polite and very helpful.

i went in for a note for my insurance to get new orthotics and checked my blood pressure what does blood pressure have to do with feet needs to be replaced by a younger doctor please wallaceburg get some new doctors.if you are a drug addict sinyanfool is the doctor for you

First had contact in emerge, did a good job, diagnosed correctly & perscribed real drugs not otcs'. Started to go to him as G.P.& over the past year I've had no problems, he does pay close attention to blood pressure and told me of some of the problems if it isn't under control but also listens and is willing to give time for you to control things like BP and weight before pushing Rx. Seems more willing to consider your concerns when you go to him with a little research and you make a effort ( i.e. lifestyle changes ). He is not like some GP's who smoke or who are huge and tell you to quit smoking and to lose weight. I have no problem remaining with this doctor.

I've had this doc for 25 years now - not by choice, but because there are no other doctors to go to! I'm so glad I'm moving to Alberta soon so I can get a half decent doctor! Everything everyone else has said about this doctor is true! He has dangerously misdiagonsed me so many times over the years, that I don't trust him at all. He won't refer even when another agency requests it! He's insulting and uncaring! He doesn't listen to you, because he's more insterested in getting as many patients in and out of his office, so he can charge OHIP more.
