Joann Donell was my doctor she was amazing best doctor in the world doctor Admur helped Joann deliver my beautiful daughter by c section they did a great job my scar looks more like a scratch than a scar there is usually a long wait time but that should be expected with an obgyn as great as these guys they deliver babies so they always have to run back an forth shoreline obgyn is horrible the doctors arent that great especially compared to the doctors in Midwives at L&M OBGYN I will only go here for all my pregnancys even if I live hours away they are that great

Dr. Amdur and his staff are excellent. I saw him for years before my pregnancy and all through out it. He even delivered my son and performed the circumsion. He did an excellent job on both. He made sure I was comfortable and that I was looking for the most important part, the moment my son was born, which is the best moment if my life and I'm glad he made sure I saw it. He's extremely knowledgable and caring. He always has nice things to say, but is very straight forward. He won't baby you, but always is very respectful. The waif time is almost always very long, but like someone else said, he takes time with his patience and doesn't rush them. Not to mention I believe he is the only one who speaks fluent Spanish so he take patients who don't speak English. In his line of work he and the other doctors are always being called for deliveries or other issues so he is quite busy. Over all, I couldn't have imagined having another dr and highly recommend him.

Dr. Amdur is an awesome OBGYN, I would prefer no other. He is a very understanding and compassionate person. I have only been with him since around May and he has been wonderfully helpful throughout my pregnancy. As far as some of the other comments go, I have only had to wait a long period of time when I have been late. That and one must remember that he provides care to those on Medicaid and the uninsured through L&M hospital. So being the only person in his practice it would end up making him a busy man. That and every time I go in even, if I am late, he takes the time to answer all of my questions. Therefore I can only assume he is doing the same for the rest of his patients. I would just like the other commenter to know that his daughter did die unexpectedly and my appointment was cancelled too. I was rescheduled within a week, granted I'm pregnant, but I felt that was more than sufficient time. Want a great OBGYN and willing to wait to see him? Then Dr. Amdur is for you.

If you like actually seeing your doctor then this doctor is NOT for you.My first appointment was on a beautiful Friday morning, I arrived to the office early like they told me to cause I was a new patient.Upon my arrival I was informed that the doctor was not in the office today and some one had called me and left me a message asking me to reschedule.I got no call or message, then the receptionist proceeded to argue with me about getting a message.So, I did reschedule my appointment for the following week.I then made another appointment as a follow up, again on a Friday.I received a call the morning of my second appointment that the doctor was not in the office and I needed to reschedule.When I called them back they told me he had a death in the family.I understand having a death but from the first time when my appointment was canceled I just told them I would no longer be coming there.I just find it funny that both times Dr Amdur needed to reschedule it was on a beautiful Friday.

I have had this doctor for almost 17 years. He has performed surgeries for me and greatly enhanced my quality of life. I highly recommend him for his expertise, excellent communication skills and care of his patients. He is always knowledgeable about the recent state-of-art procedures. His office staff is excellent.

He's a great doctor but plan to wait 30 - 60 minutes past your appointment time to just be called into the nurse's area. Everyone is pleasant and helpful--they just seem to always overbook and be behind schedule
