Dr. Hsu is very abrupt and rude. She is quick and hardly explains anything. She talks on the phone much of the time you are in the room with her. The only reason I continue to go to her office is because of her hours. I can go after work instead of having to take time off. She seems to know what she is doing. But again she is very abrupt and rude. It may just be "old lady" syndrome. Where she thinks she can act and say anything she wants because she is older. But I find her way over the top.

Dr. Hsu is the best! She is a great knowledgable Doctor. Yes, you have to wait sometimes, but you can walk in unannounced also. Yes, the furnishings are not plush, but she gives so many sample to the poor. I have the utmost respect for her.

I LOVE THIS WOMAN. She is a GREAT HUMANITARIAN and the BEST DOCTOR on EARTH. She once told me that if you sleep more than 4 hours a day you are LAZY. She probable NEVER gets more than 4 hours of sleep a day. She is at the hospital at 5 to do her rounds, then she sees HUNDREDS of patients a day!! This woman ROCKS. She is a beamy ANGLE who is so dedicated to the healthcare of underserved folks of Elkton and the surrounding area. I live near more metropolitan centers, where I could go (with my Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance) to see any number of "fancy" Doctors. I drive from PA to Elkton to see her. Her office is not fancy. I do not need a fancy office, I need a loving, kind, understanding, accessible human being, who is ALWAYS THERE FOR ME. My husband LOVES HER TOO. Like me, he chooses to see her, when we could choose any Doctor from ELkton to Philadelphia. She tirelessly and afffordably serves the poorest and forgotten. She brings the opportunity of healthcare to all!

The place is not only disorganized, but filthy and dirty. The staff is extremely rude and seem like they dont even want to there job, which is to help people. You say Please or Thank You to them and they respond with 'uh huh'. So unprofessional! Dr. Hsu herself is nice and knows what she is doing, but I would recommend cleaning and replacing the staff!! I will not be going back there.

Dr. Hsu's office may be disorganized but she is knowledgeable and pleasant. Her staff does agreat job also and you get test results in a timely manner. You may have to wait awhile but Dr. Hsu is worth the wait.

I have been seeing dr. hsu for 27 years since i was 15 years old. She has got me through alot of sickness. Without her knowledge and insisting on certain tests being performed i would be DEAD. I had been put on depression medicine by a E.R. Doctor when i could hardly function or remember anything. Went to dr hsu she put me in the hospital and did a test on my arteries they were 98% blocked i had to have emergency surgery the same day. I will never go to another doctor but her. Her staff is not the best, but i look past them. She treats the poor and un-insured and that is an attestment to her character. I LOVE HER

Dr.Hsu will see you the same day you call, sometimes all the way up to 10:00 at night if she is in.The only day she isn't in is Sunday. The only drawback is that her office is always crowded, so you will wait to be seen. She does not give out painkillers(which is good). She is very informed and helpful.She is always looking at new modes of treatment. She is actually concerned about her patients. I think the fee is $60.00 if you have no insurance.

all i can say is dr hsu has the most disorganized office i hae ever seen, and you may wait an extra hour sometimes, but never in your lifetime will meet a doctor with the extreme knowlage as dr hsu. she has doctored me before children, 3 of my children, and now me again. dr. hsu never forgets a single thing about your case history. i love her like she's my friend, and can't wait for my appts. ~~barbara butler~~

I have never seen this doctor but I called the staff to schedule an initial consultation as I needed a new family doctor and they asked me what my problem was so I briefly told them I was in a car accident and was having some pain in my neck and....I was cut off and told I would not be getting any pain medication if that is what I was looking for. I was absolutely shocked! I explained I needed to see about getting an x-ray or MRI something to find out what is wrong with me and that I was appauled that she would assume I was calling only for medication. I don't know how the doctor is but her staff or at least the person who answers the phone is rude and very condescending.
