I have been with Dr. Brown for over 5 years. He and is his staff always are pleasant and don’t do unnecessary work or charges. Please don’t be discouraged by the comments below. Try him for yourself and then make a decision. I am a happy customer of 5 years. Remember this is a business and if there was a balance to not treat an individual he must have had a strong reason as it goes against medical codes of practices not to treat based on the financial ability to pay.

The office is very clean and cheerful. I felt comfortable with the treatment I received. They filed the insurance claims for me and everything went very smoothly. They were good to deal with and cared for me.

Did a very very poor job on my 2 crowns, eventually one crown literally fell off within just 3 years. I had to get both the crowns redone, and I ended up paying more than double the amount since my insurance refused to cover it ...

The doctor did a crown on me and it looked terrible. Went to another Doctor and it had to be redone. Would never go back to this doctor again...

With Dr.Brown's since 1995. In May 2006, prior to the Memorial Day weekend, I cracked my tooth. I contacted the office and it was decided that I should come in immediately! While the assistant was going through the records, it was noted that I had a past due balance of $72. I requested to talk to the billing coordinator as I was unaware of such a balance. She was not scheduled in until the following week. The assistant requested guidance from Dr. Brown on how to proceed with scheduling the the immediate need. Dr. Brown directed her not to schedule me until the bill was paid. I saw another practitioner, one highly ranked on this service, and had the dental issue addressed. The next week the billing coordinator discovered that new personnel had not billed a secondary insurer to cover the balance. Billing reminder notices were sent to an address where I had not resided in six years. Odd since I provided the practice with my new address several times. Sad what money can do to integrity.

Stuart Brown put 2 crowns in my mouth. Both were done poorly and had to be replaced by another dentist within 5 years. This has cost me well over $1,000. The crown was done to alleviate pain I had on the right side of my mouth, but did not work. I continued to have this pain until I saw my new dentist who said that I simply had sensitive teeth and recommended a gel that worked wonderfully.

If your looking for a good dentist...stay as far AWAY from this one as possible! He is more worried about how much money he can make off of you than he is on your actually well being. He will do procedures that are not necessary just for the money out of your pocket or from your insurance company. I agree with the last poster, his licensed should be revoked. On top of the him cheating patients and insurance companys out of money.. he isn't even a good dentist. His work is very very poor.... but I guess in the long run he just sees that as more money in his pocket.... so why should he bother doing good work that will last? One day things will catch up with this Doctor.
