Dr. MacSween didn't explain things as well as she could have in my case. I had to look up information about my condition on the Internet. In retrospect, I would have been much better off seeking a second opinion but I was extremely ill and needed immediate treatment. I have since discovered on the Internet that there were other options that could have been explored. After initial consultation and treatment I have never been able to get back to see her for follow-up - is this not inappropriate? Has the treatment worked? - I am not sure as I am juggling medication right at the moment without a specialist in this particular field to advise me.

Dr. MacSween's appointment was quite an experience. I felt like a 10 year old in a principal's office. I found her condecending and unapproachable.

I left my appointment with this physician feeling like I had bothered her. My questions were answered as though I should have known the answers and made me feel a little stupid.
