All I have ever had is problems with her, she disregards my questions, answers and worries, and has never done more then the absolute minimum for me. I would not recommend her.

She is an extremely diligent doctor who actively cares for her patients. If you require a specialist she will send you to a very good one. I can honestly say that she saved my life and I continue to trust her with it. I would recommend her without reservation to anyone other than someone who I feel would mistreat or malign her. She truly is a gift to the community.

Dr. Matsuo is a widely respected, extremely competent, and down to earth professional. I feel like I won a medical lottery given the calibre of her care when compared to previous GPs over a thirty year period. I have run into multiple patients, and strangers to me through the years who gush as much as I do at having found someone as talented, intuitive, and personable as she is. She IS the bomb.

She is attentive, caring, thorough, and patient. I have always found her to have your best interest at heart. I feel so very fortunate to have such a kind and wise doctor.
She is cautious and will make referrals to rule things out and to make sure things are not missed. I think she is excellent. I have seen her in emergency and am a patient in her family practice. She does not rush you but takes the time to care and explain things. So lucky to have her.

I wouldn’t recommend her to my worst enemy. She always made sure I felt like a piece of garbage, like I was a terrible mother and called me fat (I was only 15lbs overweight after having a baby). I think she skipped the day they taught doctor/patient confidentiality. She would openly speak to my husband’s family about his visits with her without his consent or remind him of future appointments. I was able to drop her as my doctor, but she refuses to let my husband leave or have access to his medical records. He can’t get a new doctor because of her.

While I hear her patiently listen to older folks for 15 mins, I find her rude and impatient, I agree with many other comments I've read, bang on: wait and see. Glad she saved one life, as she has enough misses on others! I agree, she missed a class or two, not everyone is top of their class in med school, sadly in ingersoll, we get stuck with a few lemons here who likely can't work in a bigger centre.....you can not get a timely appt! it's crazy to wait almost a month for an appt for something acute, but wait: why bother anyhow? oh it's likely viral, let's wait and see. I feel she is a gatekeeper. As a healthcare professional, I honestly fail to see what Dr Matsuo does for me as a patient. She refers me to others when I get downright ticked off with her lack of action. She will order a test only when I get upset with her, and even then, she is very patronizing about it, "if it will make you feel better" ...even if the testing is the gold standard of care. I feel she will at some point hurt someone in my family, as she's already put them at risk with delayed diagnosis due to her inaction and watch and wait mentality. Super frustrating. Would rather drive to london to see another dr.

Dr. Matsuo is good at listening, but not as good at doing. You have to ask for a referral. I think she missed a few classes. She refused to prescribe anti-biotics for bronchitis, even though I told her the earlier I get an anti-biotic, the faster I feel better, saying it was a virus, when standard procedure states that the virus usually turns bacterial. I now have COPD & a doctor said that my lungs fighting to heal the bacteria, as well as other factors weakened my lungs. My mother went to her with breathing problems. She had had lung cancer 8 years earlier. Dr. told her it was probably pneumonia, gave antibiotic. Mom went back & said she wasn't feeling better. Dr. gave MORE antibiotic. NEVER GOT AN XRAY! Mom had pink sputum, made an appointment & packed a bag to insist on being admitted. The internist finally took an xray. It was CANCER, too late to do anything! There were other misdiagnosis, so you better know what's wrong with you before you see her.

Jill has been my doctor since she started in Ingersoll and I have never found her to be anything but kind, patient, knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. Like her other patients, I find she is a good listener and always wants to know "how I am doing" not just what is the problem.

I had a doctor in another city for many years. I was afraid with that doctor that should anything serious happen to me that she would kill me. She never listened, always rushed me and barely heard me when I spoke. THANKFULLY after a heart scare that landed me in ER where Dr Matsuo was attending I found the greatest doctor I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She was fantastic in ER. She was patient, caring and sweet. She was extremely thorough and knowleable and when I was transferred to her care as my primary physician, I never again felt the fear I had with my last long time doctor.
Jill is so patient, kind and terrific. You never feel rushed. She isn't afriad to send you to another doctor for referral, should you need it and she always values my opinion. I appreciate how knowleable and honest she is and if I have to wait a few extra minutes to see her because she is talking and caring for the patient before me, well, honestly I will take that anyday of the week over waiting for a doctor that rushes you and doesn't listen.
I KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt now that in my time of emergency, I will be fortunate and blessed to now have Dr Matsuo as my doctor.
