Very arrogant and agressive. Definitely needs to work on his people skills.

Gives you the straight facts as to what is wrong with you. When he orders a test he gives you the results, good or bad ,unlike most other doctors who keep you guessing if they deem you don't need to know.

Dr. Dewar is an exceptional surgeon and doctor. He also has a fine bedside manner and explains everything to his patients. Keep up the good work Dr. Dewar.

Dr. Dewar did my surgery and was very satisfied. Very good surgeon.I would highly recommend him.He had time for me to ask a lot of questions on after care visit.

This man is very arrogant and treats people as though they are beneath him. He presumes that nobody could possibly know as much as he does. When questioned he is quite rude and when misinformed he does not apologize. He may be good at surgery but lacks people skills. He would be 100% better if he improved his attitude towards people/patients.

He is the Doc I would want to operate on me...although he is a bit arrogant, he is an extremely skilled surgeon!

This dr. has the compassion of a wet noodle and should maybe learn when to speak unstead of talking over patients

Dr. Dewar saved my husband's life. During the pre-op examination Dr. Dewar ordered carotid U/S, which showed 80 and 90% blockages respectively. He brought in Dr. Kopriva and within 10 days my husband had 9 cabg's and Lt. carotid endarectomy. He was staight forward and explained everything clearly. He was not able to see my husband in hospital, however, one of his collegues did and I really appreciate the fact if he is not available, another doctor is. Thank you Dr. Dewar

Dr. Dewar literally gave me a few more years to live. I was diagnosed with lung cancer and told by Dr Tsay that nothing could be done for me. Two days later I had a call from Dr, Dewar that he would be doing the surgery in 5 days. Here I am 2 years later. still going strong. Thanks to my miracle maker, Dr. DEWAR.
