Dr Parent not only could not diagnose the simple issue I came to him with, but engaged in inappropriate doctor activities. I also later found out that the Premier Laser Clinic which he started had ripped off people like me who purchased spa & laser packages from him, then they suddenly shut down after taking all our money, without refunding it or giving us the services we had paid for in the packages.

Sneaky charges, old-fashioned equipment and attitude, unnecessary tests, lectures... I think the only help they offered in three years was the advice to use an icepack. AND He will only write Rx for 3 months and will not refill unless you come in for office visit (was on same Rx for 10 years prior). The little rooms for the patients are littered with notices written in huge bold font on brightly colored paper about how much every little 'fee' will be. Like, $15 per page for a fax, $x for after hours phone call, etc. Really tacky, especially considering he charges you underhandedly and without knowledge these ridiculous tests at almost every visit... and, again, that's every three months. Thankfully, I grew a brain and fired his old, overcharging behind. I would suggest you look elsewhere for a doctor. Unless you like wasting money and think 'icepacks' can cure the world.

dont waste your time with this doctor! this doctor is insurance company owned. He will make prescriptions expire quickly so you pay for a visit to get another one. He will waste your time with un-necessary tests. His staff is rude, charge unnecessary fees. This doctor is never on time and expect to wait at least an hour before he will see you after your appointment time. Several times i had scheduled to see him and when i showed up for my appointments he would have a "friend" doctor see me instead because he would be on vacation. this doctor mainly prays on elderly patients. dont put your life in this doctors hands. 8 months with this guy and still undiagnosed.

Had a recent colonoscopy procedure, DR Joe was very through and educational about outcome, i asked to see pictures of polyps, he explained as i get older chances of cancer increase, advised to test again in 3 years

Made lewd comments and walked in on me (female) without shirt on several times during a test by female nurse. Did not listen. Conducted a number of tests without my authorization. Made rude comments.

Seems competent but not very inclined to actually 'listen' to the patient and a bit prone to lecturing, even when it does not apply to the situation at hand.
