It has taken me a couple months to get over the visit I had with Shehata. I mean emotionally, not physically. It was THE worse experience I have ever had with a doctor. I made the appointment because of a severe pain in my hip. After waiting over two hours I finally saw the doctor, for about ten minutes. He would not make eye contact, he would not let me speak, he did not listen to what I tried to say, he refused to read my notes that I brought him describing my issue, he basically told me to shut up and get a colonscopy. I was so shocked by the treatment of this doctor that I couldn't even form the words to say "what is going on?" I was the last patient of the night, and the nurses beat me out of the building to their cars. I was stunned. I wanted to see Dr. Werbitt, because I heard all good things about him, but he was busy, so I figured his partner must be good also. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

I heard from other nurses at several of the endoscopy/Surgi centers that he was the top man, even the anesthesiologist doctors and nurses use hin for their selves, wives and inlaws. All the tech agree he is a very skilled endoscopist. He treated my brother in law for Hep C, and we though he wasn't going to make it. He is now 50 years old and expecting his 6th child and the virus is undetectable. I understand that because of the nature of his speciality that his time is a the mercy of emergencies. If a hospital patient of procedure patient is a risk, the office is going to have to wait. God Bless him and his family He is a good man and compasionate doctor

Dr. Shehata regardless of what people say saved my father's life. He discovered that my father had Kidney Cancer. Thank God he went with his instincts and decided to give him a CAT Scan if not my father would have been dead. This occured 6 months before my wedding. I was devastated to know that I might not have had my father at my wedding. Him walking me down the aisle felt amazing. I thank God that he was with me on my special day. I'm also a patient at Dr. Shehata's office. Yes, time is an issue that should be addressed. When I go to his office there's times that I don't get within an hour, at times I leave 2 or 3 hours later. Which is a problem for me. But I know that he does explain everything to me. I was recently diagnosed with Barrett's Esophagus and I thank God that he caught it on time and didn't convert to Cancer. Wow I'm really happy!! Anytime I call they're there and that means the world to me.

he was RUDE and I can't believe the way he spoke to me, being a new patient I was made to feel I was taking up too much of his time as he walked out as I tried to discuss medication. I thought I was there to see he partner.
