This doctor nearly killed me. I was 7 weeks pregnant and started bleeding on Christmas Eve. I called the afer hours number and told Dr Lazar that I thought I was having an ectopic (because I had severe shoulder pain) she told me I was at a low risk for this and told me to stay off the interent (because I had googled my symptoms)and go back to bed. I ended up in the ER a few hours later with a ruptured ectopic. Not only that, when she heard I was leaving the practice, she called me at home (I thought to apologize) and said the most cruelest thing I have ever heard. I had had three miscarriages before this and her words to me were 'Well, I hear you are leaving the practice? Well, I think you associate us with not being able to have a baby and that is really why you are leaving'. What a nasty, unprofessonal thing to say. I left the practice because she nearly killed me. Stay far away from this doctor, she doesn't have a kind bone in her body and her medical judgement stinks.

Dr. Lazar was very throrough and compasionate after I miscarried at 16 weeks, she explained everything that I was going to experience during the process and after. There is no way I would have made it through that day without her guidance.

She performed minor surgery (shaved a fibroid) one month later fibroid was still there (whole). She wanted me to go on depravaro which my other doctor disagreed. That medicine shrinks fibroids and mine was not that big it needed to be removed not shrunk. Thank God I did not take her advice and sought another doctor who was able to remove the fibroid all together. Now Im fine. Please seek more then one opinion before making serious decisions. The medication she wanted me to go on had very serious side effects. She was unhelpful.
