DR. Sear perpetuates institutional and systematic racism ..most Doctors are which in inherited from a child and what they have experienced though out life. In that regards, It is very difficult to making their decisions which relied from past experiences and upbringing. even if the patients case, records, and history are opposite to his own thought. the doctor, in this case dr sear will fall upon his own .

Dr. Sear has been our family doctor for over 35 years. I highly doubt I will ever know a doctor as respectful and caring as he has been to our family. Always approachable, patient, kind, always taking time to provide information and answer questions so that we can understand our health situation, our body, medical procedures and medications or treatments. Dr. Sear provided excellent care and treatment through all our medical concerns over the past 35 years. We appreciate all he has done for our family, other patients, and our community. Dr. Sear has been a positive influence in the health care/medicine of our province and country. We are grateful that he has mentored and taught medical students. He has experience and wisdom that any student, new doctor, or other medical professional could benefit greatly in learning from. Dr. Sear, a "thank you" is not enough for all you have done for us. You are the best doctor we have ever known. Thank you for everything!

Couldn't ask for a better Dr!! Delivered myself and both my siblings as well as all tree of my children! Very knowledgable with great bedside manner. I love the fact he's often got students with him, because there's nobody better for them to learn from. We need more Dr's like him!!

Dr. Sear is a wonderful doctor. He was the only one to discover my scoliosis after many doctors over the course of over a year, and just by a glance. he has been there to help me with my flat foot, also discovering my inflammatory disease, and hopefully solving many more problems in the future. easy to talk to, genuinely concerned. He listens to what you say, and thoroughly explains charts and questions. sometimes rushed or late, but what would you expect after being voted #1 GP in canada.

Tends to be "moody" ... his treatment of patients in the office depends on what's happened in his life. This isn't a bad thing becaue he is easily the best doctor I've ever encountered. He takes to heart what has happened to his patients, and this is reflected in his office "bedside manner". Just be prepared for any of his moods and you'll be more than pleased with this guy.

Dr. Sear was my family doctor for many years as I grew up in Quesnel. I was spoiled in his care and naively assumed all doctors were this good. I remember one time as a child, while visiting a friend in the hospital with my mother, Dr. Sear noticed her in the room as he passed by while doing rounds. He rushed into the room, with a look of confused concern as if to say "Why did nobody tell me one of my patients was here?" When I was 10, I broke my wrist. After he showed us the x-rays and explained how he was going to set it, he engaged me in smalltalk and massaged my forearm while waiting for the local to kick in. What I didn't realize at the time is that he was completely distracting me from the fact that his massaging was actually him setting the bone. Just as I was steeling myself for what I thought was going to be a very painful experience, he said it was done, and fitted me with a cast and sent me on my way. I would clone Dr. Sear and give him to every town if I could.
