He and his staff are wonderful. I had an open reduction surgery for repairs of 2 broken bones in my ankle. He did a great job, he’s knowledgeable and he has a great bedside manner.

We are so fortunate to have Dr. Don Brien is Cape Breton. His expertise and knowledge could benefit patients anywhere in the world. He fixed my busted knee cap that was broken like an eggshell. He took excellent care and I haven't had any issue with it since other than what is to be expected with swelling and stiffness, which I only experience when I put off exercise.

Very glad Dr Brien replaced my hip. I’m coming back for replacement of the other one soon. He’s very caring, skilled and professional. It’s amazing to feel no pain now in that joint after years filled with increasingly excruciating pain and use of pain killers. We are so lucky to have such a good surgeon.

As a result of a fall, the Doctor had to operate to repair a cracked patella (knee cap). Excellent care including follow up visits.
