Incompetent staff & doctor. had to go to the Er while experiencing excrutiating pain. Called the office to let them know I was in this pain.Never receive a call back from the dr. Went to hospital and was told the pain was due to gall stones stuck in my bile duct & needed to be removed ASAP therefore was admitted overnight. Plumbers office returns my call the next am with instructions from the dr. to have me stop taking the med he previously had rx'd which was Pepcid! They were advised that I was in the hospital waiting for Dr. Plumser, to get these stone removed from the bile duc. As I was turning more yellow by the minute my wife requested assistance from the hospital. She expressed her disgust in dr plunders lack of concern & requested that another specialist from the hospital step in. At this time dr Plumser walks in apologizing for the miscommunication-nonexistent!Confirms he will be doing the procedure at 6pm tonight . fyi my liver levels are still off and dr has no concern.STAY AWAY

Office staff is extremely unpleasant and darn right nasty. I had nothing but problems with this office. At first he wants your money and will schedule you for an endoscopy right away. But if you have a chronic problem he wants nothing to do with you or helping you in finding a diagnoses. Dr. Plumser made me feel like I was a hypocondriact and argued he didn't want to order tests on me. He is only about the money not about helping you find a diagnoses! Stay away!

plumser didn't bother to tell me all the things he found during my endoscopy. he told me about my duodenal ulcer but not my hiatal hernia. i found out about it from my PCP. since when should a doctor be able to withhold patient information? this is no longer the dark ages of medicine. forget him!

Was okay initially but if you have a chronic problem, best to go elsewhere. Will not get on phone with patients directly. Maybe okay for a quick diagnosis and treatment(1-2 time visit) but for anything ongoing will not work "with" you. His way or the highway.

There are many doctors to choose from but Dr. Plumser is the best. It took a little bit of time to get an appointment because he is in high demand, but whenever I have a problem, I am fit in asap. There are some office staff that come across a little abruptly, but I would never hold that against him. He always spends plenty of time with me in the appt listening to what I have to say before responding...i never feel rushed out of the appt like I do with other doctors.

Surprisingly, I had in the past good experiences with Dr. Plumser, but of late I did not have a good experience at the Endosurgical center. The anesthesiologist was very unprofessional, they were about to put the scope in me and I was not even "knocked out" I started to pinch the nurses finger to let them know that I was not knocked out. I brought this to the doctor's attention when I went for my visit-told him how unprofessional the anesthesiologist was; the fact they almost started the procedure without being properly sedated. In the past 4 other procedures I really liked this doctor and was quite surprised. Don't have a colonoscopy lunch time the staff seems not very attentive. I just felt like I was going through an assembly line! Too Bad really liked him in the past!! His office staff is just OK - one of the people on his staff in his office is just a miserable person; like she's mad at the world. Get another job if you hate working there.

I saw Dr. Plumser from 1986 until I moved to Texas in 1993. He was always very professional. I was down to 100 pounds, and he was very helpful in diagnosing me and making me feeling better in no time. I must have had at least three colonoscopies and two endoscopies, and they all went very well with no problems. I wish I could find someone like him here in Texas. I just may have to move back to New Jersey. I would highly recommend him if you are having any type of digestive problem.

This doctor is pleasant and seemingly knowledgeable. BUT: 1)It took 2.5 months to have an endoscopy 2)After the endoscopy he gave me a prescription for Reglan, not remembering the fact that I told him that Reglan gave me horrible Paranoia, which he confirmed it could do! 3)The staff at the ENDOSURGICAL CENTER of Central NJ in East Brunswick were the most INCOMPETENT that I have ever encountered! It took 4 women to find a vein in my arms to insert an IV into, and after all that they did it wrong. They missed the vein, and my arm started hurting like hell. I became very nauseaus, began hyperventilating, and became covered in cold sweat. They kept assuring me that it was in fine, and only after they saw that I wasn't getting sedated that they realized that the IV was not in the vein, but in my muscle. This caused me so much distress, not to mention that my arm swelled up and hurt for two days. FIND A DOCTOR THAT WILL DO AN ENDOSCOPY IN HIS OFFICE!!!

I'm been to a few doctors but none have made me feel as comfortable as Dr. Plumser. He is very knowledgeable and genuine, which is hard to find.

Excellent doctor. Very friendly and professional. Took the time to listen to me. He just did a colonoscopy on me yesterday. He treated me with respect before and after the procedure. Staff at the center were superb!!! Overall experience was very pleasant. Took the fear out of the whole procedure. Highly recommended!!!
