Stephanie is an amazing person. Shes been my family doctor since she started over 20 years ago. She’s easy to talk to and I feel like she always has my back. Whenever I have an emergency they do their best to fit me in. Shelley is also an amazing person. Very friendly and always makes you feel comfortable in the office.

All I know is she is horrible with labor and delivery. She was the doctor on call when my doctor was off the night I went into labor. She was absolutely horrible. No empathy for me at all. In the other room talkin and laughing while I was in extreme pain. She had me pushing way too early. Then told me to stop. I pushed for 3 hours while my baby was stuck in my birth canal. I screamed and cried for my doctor untill nurses called dr. Obrian and asked him to come in. He came in and gave me an episiotimy ( which stephanid does not do ) and used a suction and got the baby out within minutes. I had a 3rd degree tear and he stitched me up. De Elerker was cold , had no emotion and I hate her. I am now pregnant again and my doctor said I had a choise between Stephanie and another female doctor. I picked the other one even though I have no idea who she is. Stephanie left me traumatised. Horrible woman.

Stephanie is a truly amazing Dr and is very informative. The only issue is the secretary Shelley can be very ignorant and and makes you feel as if you are below her. It seems as if she gets satisfaction turning away sick patients and that she loves the power to do so.

Stephanie is awesome!! I would love to have her as my family doctor if I could. She was my prenatal doctor my only complaint is that she is a little bit slow but with that she IS a very busy doctor, one of the best in glace bay. She knows her stuff, and she is a very nice woman. If you dont have any medical plans, she will try to get you help for free. She had no problem sending me off on leave early due to my work being so physically demanding. Love her! :-)

I have only positive things to say about Dr. Ellerker. I consider myself extremely lucky to have her as a family Doctor. She is very kind, compassionate, very knowledgeable and genuine. I could not ask for a better doctor to trust with my family :)
