Seriously needs to start taking care of patients. Has dismissed my health concern several times, but expects me to keep coming back to keep an eye on it. It's been 4 years, let's maybe get some answers! The clinic notice on their site about walk in clinics is DISGUSTING. I had a medical emergency and she called later to ask why I didnt drive to her office the next day instead of going to urgent care. For an emergency. Didn't follow up with me to see how I was doing, but to make sure I knew not to do it again. They can say it's about continuity all they want, we know it's about the money. Absolutely unethical to operate this way and I recommend staying away.

NEGLIGENCE!!! I have been dismissed by her way too many times to count when my health has been in serious jeopardy. Thank god for the ultrasound techs and professionals around her who actually care and behave as medical professionals. RETIRE! You don’t listen and don’t care. Just collecting off suffering people. You can only prescribe so many anti depressants.

I felt she was indifferent, and made some needless comments after having delivery complications. I changed doctors after that.

We have had the fortune of having Dr. McMeekin as our family Doctor for over 20 years. She has been with us through the the birth of our children to their teens. She has always been kind and accommodating. Her straight forward and pragmatic approach has always guided us through any issues that we have had. Knowing our family and having grown with us helps with realistic diagnosis and recommendations for our health care. We have been lucky to have had her care for us for years.

I have been seeing Dr. McMeekin for over 14 years. I have always found her to be pleasant, helpful and knowledgable. Although I mainly visit her for yearly checkups, I have had many visits where I have been ill and she has always made the right diagnosis. If she sends you for tests, she has called me personally to discuss the results not having her staff to do so. I can always get an appointment with her within a couple of hours if something is wrong. Carlisle Medical Centre is lucky to have her, as so am I.

I have been a patient of Dr. McMeekin for several years and I think she exudes professionalism, kindness and caring. She always takes the time to listen. She is very knowledgable and is able to make reference to current research when recommending treatment. Dr. McMeekin makes sure she has done a thorough workup before referring me on to a specialist--this has always been appreciated both by myself and the specialist. Lastly, I have great appreciation for the organization and efficiency of the Carlisle Medical Center. Appointments run on time and yet as a patient, I never feel rushed. In over 20 years of going to Dr. McMeekin she has never been late. That is truly amazing.

I met with dr Mcmeekin because my dr was fully booked , found her to be very closed minded and a poor listener . She had me diagnosed in 5 min (Digestive issues) even though there are many issues that have the same symptoms. Did not want to do any further testing until I insisted on at least a blood test. She specializes in misdiagnosis , just ask around the village of Carlisle.

Dr . McMeekin is the most horrible doctor i have had all my life for 21 years now ! every time i go see her she absolutly wont do no tests she just looks at me or whatevers wrong at the time and say im fine and send me out with a creme ,i have alot of mental issues , depression issues , and alot more wrong , she absolutly will not medicate me she just says go to therapy , she put a IUD in me when i was 16 wich is illigal in the states %100 and illigal here in canada to put one in someone under the age of 25 , it has caused me great pain and lots of cists on my ovaries that she says is fine we all ave those but dont care about te pain,she has mis dianosed myself several times i had and infection once and she said i was fine and then i went to the hospitl that night after seeing her becouse im in so much pain from the IUD they said i was lucky to come in becouse it would have spread into a bad kidney infection,i have been living the pain for 5 years now excrutiating pain ! nomeds at all
