Doctor Hofhuis is a very understanding, compassionate and informed doctor. I have had him as a doctor for 16 years and even though I live over an hour away, it is worth taking the day off work to go to Pt. Stanley to see him. He doesn't rush people and provides appropriate information and assurance. I hope he never retires.

Dr. John is the best !!! He always makes time to listen. He has been my doctor for many years and I have always been satisfied with the service given , from the girls at the front desk to his diagnosis given. He not only is a great doctor but a friend to our family.I only hope he does not retire for years to come !!

Many nights with terrible migraines, and John's always a phone call away. As others have said, he gives you his total attention while you're in his office, listens to all your concerns, and is so compassionate in his approach. He is a huge asset to Port Stanley and area, if he could be cloned then the world would be a healthier, happier place! John spent countless hours with my grandma while she was ill with cancer, always making her as comfortable as he would his own Mother.

Dr. Hofhuis is a very caring and knowledgable individual. I am so glad that I switched to him. No matter what the issue, he is always very helpful, informative and dedicated. I never feel like I am wasting his time (unlike my previous doctor).

Dr. H. has been our family physician for many years. He stepped up to help us when my grandmother moved to this area without a family physician and was very ill.As a person with lots of medical issues, I feel very fortunate to have a physician who treats me as an individual. I am not seen as a burden to his workload. He is very compassionate, understanding,a greatlistener, explains his reasons, and has a wonderful sense of humour. I feel very lucky in this changing healthcare system that Dr. H. is here.

Dr.Hofhuis is a WONDERFUL man and an EXCELLENT doctor, very caring, compasionate,extemely knowledgable, everyone should be so lucky to have him for their doctor! He has been our doctor actually for generations! He and his wife are very involved with the community, he is always there to pick you up no matter the situation......always a light at the end of the tunnel with Doc Hofhuis!
