Dr. MacMullin saved my life almost 4 years ago after my appendix ruptured. Another Doctor had sent me home on antibiotics for a bladder infection 10 days earlier. When I returned to the hospital, I was immediately placed on morphine and about 12 hours later was being prepared for surjury. I spent a week in a hospital bed after the surgery and Macmullin would regularly check on me before work in the mornings. I owe everything to this man. He is truly a great surgeon and an amazing person.

Dr. MacMullin, is the most wonderful doctor I have every experienced. He is a true gentleman, amazing bed side manner, so kind and caring, and meticulous surgeon. It will be a terrible loss to our area when you retire but wish you nothing but happiness.

If a diagnosis of cancer isn't scary enough, putting your life into a surgeon's hands can be even scarier but Dr MacMullin cares and his compassion and expertise shine through in every encounter. If you must place your life in one surgeon's hands, choose this man. His skill, his knowledge and his bedside manner are second to none. Unfortunately, the way to him, is through his secretary and she is a discredit to his service.

My son is awaiting a referral for Dr. MacMullin. He has seen Dr. MacMullin before, but it was decided by him and the family doctor not to proceed at that time with surgery. Dr. MacMullin assured me we'd get it done at a later time.
I phone about three months later, same problem needed to be surgically repaired, sooner then later. Spoke to his secretary, she was so rude, said I'd need a new referral. Had my sons specialist send one TWICE, because the secretary claims she never received it.
Trying to get my sons surgery done ASAP, but Dr. MacMullin's secretary is a terror to deal with...
Love the doctor, though!!!

Very professional, very knowledgeable doctor. Have seen him over the years in regards to myself and family members. Only down fall is his receptionist. She has been rude and not the least bit of compassion. The only way his office can be better is to replace her.

He is by far the best DR I have ever had. He removed my gallbladder a few months ago and I have nothing but great things to say about him. I was unable to eat for month(end of February until my 6 week appointment for ny post op) he is a wealth of knowledge and explains everything very well so you can understand. I lost 50 pounds in total and before my 6 week appointment was in very bad shape, he recognized that I was being givin the wrong medications and that was why I still couldn't eat, he explained why the old ones weren't working and why the new ones would. Since then I've been able to eat and now am on the fast track to recovery.

Dr. MacMullen is the reason my husband is still alive. He is a credit to his profession and walks on water as far as we are concerned. He cares so much and is so very kind. He deserves to have a secretary who mirrors HIS compassion.

Dr. Mac Mullin is a fantastic doctor. He is so down to earth and make you feel important not wasting his time. I needed surgery, he explained everything to me and had a very short waiting period. He would crack a little joke to make you feel at ease and not worry about things. I trust this doctor fully and would request him if I ever needed a surgeon.
