Dr. Darrah is our family physician and is one of my very favorite doctors. I research my care and have only found him to be very intelligent & knowledgable. What I always come away impressed with, though, is that he has always made my family & I feel like we were his only patients at the time. Without fail, he has always taken plenty of time to answer my questions and even make some small talk; he has never seemed hurried to us, despite the fact that I know that he has many patients. He also has a great sense of humor (sometimes dry, which I "get"); I have especially appreciated his humor when feeling very ill or in pain. I have experience with numerous doctor visits at his office, Costin Family Practice, as well as while I was admitted in the hospital after a serious car accident in June '06. I honestly don't have one negative thing to say about him nor his staff. I have recommended him to friends, and I would have no problems with highly recommending him to anyone!

He is smart and kind and exceptionally intelligent about matters of medicine. I would trust him with the lives of my family and myself, without question. One thing though, he needs to work on his moodiness, even his staff feels the edge! But he is a wonderful person as a whole!

Dr.Darrah used to be very understanding and helpful. I know that I have multiple medical problems due to a very bad auto accident. But somewhere along the way he has lost the meaning of why he is in the practice. There is something wrong when you sit for an hour an a half in the waiting room only to spend 5 minutes with the doctor and his advice to you is go home and look it up on the computer. Doctor is too intellegent and used to be too compassionate to loose his insight with the people and I hate to see this happen to him. I have since sought out another physician but I wish him only the best and I hope he gets the real meaning back before it is too late. I fear his involvement taking care of the team sports & players has taken so much of his time that little else concerns him. Modern technology is a wonderful thing but I hope we never lose the human touch. Thank you. Mrs. Franks
