I had him as my family dr. for a while and I could never get an appointment when I needed one. He even answers calls on his cell phone in the middle of an exam. (To talk about hockey) Worst dr. I have ever had. I have since found another dr. that is great.

Dr Fontaine has been taking care of both my aging parents and we could not ask for better care. Yes, he does run late for his appointments but once you're in his office you have 100% of his attention and he listens to everything the patient has to report. He will also quickly refer to specialists when needed. Don't know what we would do without him. His support staff is also very very helpful and efficient!

Ron has been my doctor for almost 30 years. I appreciated his care when my children were young. I am however concerned about the fact that his practice has become too large. Many weeks before his patients are able to meet with him. I feel that he no longer cares for his patients, he seems to be more interested in the all mighty $$$$. He typically sees 4 patients in a 15 minute time frame which adds up to be less than 4 minutes per patient. You better be prepared to talk fast. He tends to keep his hand on the door nob while you explain your ailment. He needs to understand that his patients time is as valuable as his....... expect to wait in waiting room at least 90 minutes before he calls your name. For all these reasons I decided to get a new doctor.....wow, what a refreshing difference. I am now able to get an appointment within 1 week. Wait room time is 10 minutes. She is amazing!. She makes me feel important and validates my issues.
Sorry Ron....You're fired!

I used to be a patient of Dr. Ronald Fontaine. He is a good knowledgeable doctor. He is also very busy (hard to get an appointment) and always rushing to get to the next patient. We usually have to wait for at least 1 hour before going in the room. For these reasons, I have decided to change to another doctor that had more time.

I love Dr. Fontaine seems concerned, but when it comes to prescribing pills for the pain, he does not like that and preferred that you tuff it up. which is great. but these pains are dreadful and been crying of pain. last night cried until I feel asleep and woke up with the same pain. I called his office; he is busy since their is only 3 days on per week. The secretary told me that she will put me in a waiting list. I explained that I am in big pain. crying of pain. i waited till 2 pm and called the secretary still had her answering machine from her lunch break on since 12 pm. decided to go to the er instead. once out of there i thought to drop in the Dr. office and explained to her that she could take me off the list. while waiting, the guy that was being served did not have an appointment and she stated that she had a cancellation and he could go through. this guy was not in pain. I reminded her who I was and that people in pain should be in priority. She did not care by her reaction.

I have been a patient there for the past 6yrs, my wife has been a long term patient of his and gone since childhood. I have recently decided to change doctors due to wait times in his clinic, not to mention if you schedule someone for 1pm make sure your available at 1pm not 2hrs - 3hrs later. I have never been so angry sitting in a waiting room in my life. This is besides the point. He is very knowledge able and has helped me on a few occasions. My other complaint is getting an appointment is nearly impossible withing a 2 week notice. I don't think if you have an urgent matter this acceptable. If they cant see you within 2 days there is a problem with the amount of patients you have! Last but not least his secretary the one on the answering machine is VERY rude! Age doesn't give you an excuse to be ignorant of manners. I could also agree that Dr. Fontaine is more concerned with talking about his own personal life than he is asking about yours.
