Dr. Degreef is absolutely the best doctor I've experienced in three countries. He rebuilt my face after a chronic accident and did various other small surgeries. There are so many of us (including other doctors) who desperately want him back. He's brilliant, incredibly accomplished and very down to earth. Wonderful bedside manner - PLEASE BRING HIM BACK!!

Dr. De Greef recently did surgery on my son. He was professional, had great bedside manner, was thorough and even had a great sense of humour that really relaxed my son. He went above and beyond what the treatment required including ensuring my sons anxieties were addressed and went the extra mile in all areas. He also made quick decisions to get my son in, in a very timely fashion for his surgery. After care has also been great, we are still in this process. It should also be mentioned that his office staff at Sudbury Science North Hospital have been equally as helpful. Highly recommend Dr. De Greef!

In 2011 he gave me my SECOND surgery, I was 21. He brought me into a small dark room in the Trail hospital with a Nurse. Gave me a local anesthetic and did ONE of my breasts then said he would do another the next week. I was young, I didn't know I had other options or that it was wrong. I felt the entire thing, cutting, cauterizing, stitching, everything. He wouldn't stop. I complained the entire time and the Nurse never stopped him. He didn't even move my nipples up. And when I had the left one properly fixed (I got put under) to match later that week, it was completely a different size than the other. Not to mention he left my post-surgery dressings on for 2 weeks which got extremely infected and my current surgeon said hes never seen scarring so bad in his career. They looked like crooked socks with lumps and scars. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Dr. De Greef is not only a Plastic surgeon he is a human being. I was sexually assaulted at work 21 years ago.I work in health care. . I still continued working. I gained an enormous amount of weight, and let myself go. I tried to hide myself . Now 22 years later I went to see Dr. De greef. I finally started to have more confidence in myself, lost weight, became more trusting. Dr. De Greef did some cosmetic surgery, as after a large weight loss it was needed. He understood what I went through and did his very best to help me. I also had help from a very helpful therapist. I also saw how helpful he was to all his patients. He was always on call. He was the only plastic surgeon in the area. He helped cancer patients, patients that were burned or in major accidents. The facility relied on him. He loves to help people. He would leave late to go home and on his travel he would be called back. He would turn his car around and come back.I gained all trust in him. Sure I had some complications, but every person's body is different. Some people heal faster than others. If we loose him we will have to go a long way to get plastic or reconstructive help. Some of us are getting older in life and driving to Kelowna may not happen for some people. Driving to Trail is much closer to get very top notch help!!!

horrible experience all around. I am writing this for my mother who underwent a reconstructive surgery resulting from cancer. she has been referred to countless doctors after her reconstruction and no plastic surgeon can figure what he did to make a SECOND reconstruction necessary. she had multiple BOTCHED surgeries says 3 different surgeons and never followed up after her fourth surgery which she had multiple complications, when trying to follow up she then found out he no longer practices (wonder why). 10/10 DO NOT SEE HIM

Dr. De Greef changed my life! I had never met such a caring and empathetic doctor until I met with him. Yes, it did take a while to see him, but my referral never made it to their office because of an error on my Dr's office part. By no means was this Dr. De Greef's offices fault but luckily I followed up and found out my referral hadn't been sent. I decided to pay to see him instead of waiting on a referral list which was extremely beneficial in my situation as I was in pain. I saw him in March 2016 and had my surgery in August 2016. His receptionist was more than friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about my situation and the process. I find it hard to believe anyone would have had a bad experience unless it was their own attitude getting in the way. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar, right?! I am living pain free because of Dr. De Greef. I will forever be grateful for his work in our community. Thank you!
