My experience was very different from horrific’s. Dr. Williams spent a great deal of time with me. He was the first female doctor to use the help aide for me that he prescribed. It worked. I eventually moved to the valley and out of state. Now, I am returning to consult with Dr. Williams driving up from the valley. I was not intimidated by Dr Williams and found his medical strategies veey beneficial. Maybe it was the CEO’s strong personality conflicting with the doctor. All doctors must have favorite personality styles. Possibly, in 2018, this doctor recognized the beginning stages of an ensuing pandemic asking proor hospitalizations in prior year. He may have a rather obscure personality but it does not prevent him from being a brilliant doctor.

My visit with Dr. Phillip Williams was horrific, to say the least. If you are a trauma survivor, DO NOT book an appointment with him. As a 47-year-old CEO with vast knowledge of my personal health history, I was appalled to learn during my visit that Dr. Williams not only lacks empathy, but is downright rude, dismissive, and shaming. He took mansplaining to a whole new level. In addition, he has yet to contact me regarding ultrasound and other diagnostic test results. I had to hunt them down myself. After being vocal about my experience, I've learned that I am far from the only woman who has been treated so poorly by Dr. Williams. Turns out, within a month's time, another well-respected executive and I both left his office in tears, refusing to book a follow-up. This is unacceptable. The women of Flagstaff deserve caring, respectful practitioners. Dr. Williams is the antithesis of that.

His staff treated me like a criminal, not a woman -- grilling me as if my annual appointment was some type of investigation -- asking me if I had been hospitalized in the past year. I'm not sure where that was coming from and why they were so insistent on knowing if I had been hospitalized. I had NOT been hospitalized. My visit with them was extremely stressful due to their excessive questioning. Then, I was mansplained by Dr. Williams -- who never did an actual physical exam on me -- just talked at me. Not too helpful!! I would prefer to see another more empathetic and compassionate provider who pretended to "care."

Best OB/GYN I've had in my life. Knows his field and is patient and willing to make sure you understand everything going on. Very skilled surgeon and listens to what the patient wants and needs and looks for viable solutions.

Dr. Williams and his staff are excellent, this was my first visit with Dr.Williams and I went for an annual check up and with a problem and he took his time with me and explained everything never once did I feel a though he was rushing or that he didn't want to answer my questions. This was the first time I had been to a new OB since my OB that I had in NY who I had been with for around 15 years and I was so glad I chose Dr. Williams, I had a wonderful experience with him and with his staff. They were prompt I had no sooner turned in my paperwork and sat down, and my name was called and I was in the room being checked in reviewing in my medical history, I had brought my information which was very appreciated by both the staff and Dr. Williams and he took his time to review it and talk to me about it, we put together a plan and he told me to call with any questions after I left not to worry that I would be bothering him or his staff. I highly recommend Dr. Williams to anyone looking for an OB/GYN, he is worth the drive to Flagstaff, I don't live local to Flagstaff and I am glad I took the drive.

Incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and dedicated. After being undiagnosed and/or misdiagnosed by several other physicians and specialists for over a year, Dr. Williams was the first to accurately diagnose my rare disorder with a biopsy. He personally called me to tell me the results when they came in. Without that proper diagnosis, I never would have received the treatment I needed and, therefore, never would have been able to have children. He delivered my son via c-section and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend him.

Didn't work with me and was rude every time I asked a question he sighed and didn't give me options and it was his way or no way I felt he didn't care for me at all very cold so I'm going to the mayo clinic best decision I ever made they are awesome.

Dr. Williams was wonderful. I had shopped around for a good OB/GYN for awhile, and when I met Dr. Williams my search ended. He is very patient and down to earth. I have PCOS and Dr. Williams was very receptive to my needs and took the time to explain different treament plans. He was understanding of my want to use Natual Family Planning, which not many OB/GYN's were. His nurses and staff are very pleasant and prompt. All around his office provides great service.
