Seems to be uninterested, has never asked questions. She gives the feeling that I am wasting her time ever though I have only been to a doctor about 6 times in the last 30 years.

Have no time for this doctor. She always downplays the reasons for my visit. I only go to the doctor when I need to. I don't leave feeling as if I'm in good hands.

Smart; no-nonsense; (irreverent, dry sense of humour if you're fortunate enough to glimpse it) and knows just when to treat vs refer to specialists. Engenders a sense that we're a team, each with responsibilities to improve our health and wellbeing. Just so, I say, (being anything but a warm-fuzzy "lets-talk-feelings,doc" sort of patient.) A few clones of this family physician's practise sytle are sorely needed in Canada's 21stC system of healthcare

Family doctor for many years. Very good doctor, but sometimes skimpy with time for annual checkup.
