He answer and talked on cell phone while doing a day thing on my leg..made it worse.just a rude terrible doctor...6 yrs later.still having problems with pain.

Dr Mckenney operated on my stomache approx14 years ago. I had a lot of complications.A lot of people will blame a doctor for their complications. After all they are human.I would let him operate on me again without a second thought. He is kind caring, compassionate and knows what he is doing. Keep up the great work Dr. Mckenney DM

Dr. Mckenny does not take the time to spend with family to talk to them. When my mother had surgery he did not tell us how she was doing post op. We had to seek out the information after several hours of waiting. He does not keep the nurses informed of what his plan is for the patient while they are in hospital. He only communicates with other physicians. He is very friendly, but I'd rather have some one tell me what is going on with my loved one than be friendly. I believe he has attention problems.

Dr. McKenny is a very caring and helpful in making decisions about the surgery you are about to have. He is conpassionate and when he finishes his surgery on you, he comes in to see you just to make sure you are ok and doing well. I have never had a more caring surgeon as Dr. McKenny. I would recommend him to anyone who needs surgery. He is number one in my books.
